Merci beaucoup Toumani. God Bless you.

Possibly they haven't said anything because the move is still dependent on his medical ?

"And now just one final test Mr Diagouraga, just a formality, could you just kick this in here please"

Live in Malpas, Cheshire. Work in Chester. My hear
I loved watching Toumani when he was on form. Great player and really liked him.
Leeds ?!?! They must be paying a lot more than we had. Best of luck to you Sir and all the very best. You were a joy to watch with that Bees kit on and I'm gonna miss ya big time.
They'd have to pay me a mint to play for that buffoon, but everyone to their own.

Good luck Toums and thanks for the memories. A true servant over the last few years. 200 plus games in the famous red and white. Good luck and its a shame to see you go.

I hope we are 3-0 up with 2 minutes to go against Leeds then Toumani scores. The club have to ask the supports to stop cheering because no one can hear the ref blow the whistle to start the game for the last two minutes.

Toums - his renaissance as a high-quality Championship midfielder was one of the most enjoyable (and, let's be frank, surprising) turns that the recent Brentford story has taken. Over the last season and a half, he's raised his game in stunning fashion and has been a pleasure to watch. An excellent player and, it seems, a very fine person to boot. Thank you, Toumani, for your great service to the club, and all the best at Leeds!

'In 27 league games this campaign, the Frenchman has scored 14 goals, has a pass accuracy of 86%, and has won 15 headers, 10 dribbles and 28 tackles.' !

Did they mean 'f*** all goals' ?

Whatever, I think most will wish him well.

Among the funniest things I've seen this century lol lol

14 goals?!?

Also the rest of those stats... 0.5 headers a game? 1 tackle a match?

He's been a great servant to the club, and I'll have many happy memories of the last 5 years -- but I think we're all happy to let him move on now... in the grand scheme of things.

A great professional (especially in light of the recent transfer bids), a very good player, and good luck to him :)

£600,000 is the figure I've seen

So just six times what his former manager thought he was worth. I wonder if Toumani was ever offended by the fee that Scottish club offered?

We've done well to get £600k for him even though I didn't want to sell him...but that was mainly to do with a depleted midfield rather than Toums being irreplaceable .....good luck to him but I might have to back him for first goal Tuesday night

Reading some of the Leeds fans comments, they seem to think they paid 1 to 1.5 million for Toums😳.......where they get the info from I don't know, but, much as we all love him, anything north of 5/600k would seem to be fantastic business by Brentford especially as, IMHO he's been more 'dave' than Toums in the games I've seen since since Fulham culminating in a no show against Burnley.
Good luck to him, hope he enjoys his time at Leeds (mmm Evans) but time to move on.

WhoScored.com is funny too.....
Tournament Apps Mins Total OffTarget OnPost OnTarget Blocked Rating
Championship 27 2240 4 4 - - - 6.50

4 shots in 27 games and all off-target :) I imagine some were so bad they didn't even get counted as shots!

Toumani Diagouraga's Style of Play:
" Likes to shoot from distance"

Tournament Apps Mins TotalTackles DribbledPast TotalAttemptedTackles Rating
Championship 27 2240 36 24 60 6.50

So he attempts a couple of tackles per match and generally only wins the ball once....
Compared to Joey Barton as an example:
Tournament Apps Mins TotalTackles DribbledPast TotalAttemptedTackles Rating
Championship 19 1627 41 15 56 7.13

Think they have been studying my sons Fifa 16 stats where Toums and Bidwell are leading scorers with Hofmann

I think those stats are part of the "unseen" play that is often referred to.

14 goals! They were all good, just not seen by us, except in our dreams! Or are they somewhere on Bees player?
Leeds probably bought him on the basis of these stats, as a goal scoring midfielder who puts in one tackle per match.

On a serious note, overall he's done very well for us over the last couple of years.
It's the right time for him to move, and likewise for us, so everyone's happy.

So thank you Toumani. Will never forget your transformation from a loaned out so-so player into a regular first teamer, who on the day, could produce some amazing skills. He has made a valuable contribution to us in the ChampionshipA real professional.

Good luck and all the best.
