Does anyone know if the club are intending to offer a tour of the new stadium to season ticket holders. Prior to the start of the following season.

Once the stadium is handed over by the developers and signed-off by BFC, sometime in late spring I believe, then the highest priority is to get the safety certificate before the end of the forthcoming season. It would not surprise me to see B Team games there, for example, and a 'big team' friendly to get to the highest attendance required by LBH to sign off on the full capacity. This will mean multiple test events but it also means that tours and other visits can be planned under the control of the Club.

Three test events planned. Graduating in attendees.

Season tickets for LR up for grabs the autumn.

Getting around to a tour of the LR stadium wouldn’t be until late May or June 2020.

I'd happily pay for a tour, could be a thing they do early matchdays before players and staff arrive

STs available from autumn, but not able to view prospective seats until summer? That's a bit of a bugger. Not sure I'd want to commit, but also wouldn't like to see all the best seats disappear in the meantime. Dilemma.

I thought that the season ticket sale coincided with the availability of some kind of VR "view from the your seat" facility?

Oh and view from seat is likely to be view from the centre of a cluster of seats.

The club are still finalising all the sale dates and release criteria. We hope to have another meeting in July.

Whether they will launch the view from seat technology beforehand remains to be seen.

Don't want to sound like a dinosaur or a technophobe, but computer simulation is never the same as being able to actually stand there, look around and think.

Yes agree completely but there is absolutely no chance of a tour of the stadium whilst it is in the ownership of Ecoworld/Buckingham so this is the best there is going to be.

Would it be economically viable (or just plain logistically possible) to delay ticket sales until BFC take ownership?

That may not be until May/June time! Too late.

On the basis that all UK building projects are always completeed way before the official completion date, I am sure there would be loads of time to have a tour and make the decision at your ledger...

Not when they're planning to sell all the tickets stupidly early when this season has barely started......

There has always been a discussion on being able to relocate your ST during the first season. Of course, if you're new desired location is already taken, then it will be a problem. Given that most of the posts about tickets (in whatever stadium) seem to reflect an urgency to get them, delaying sales in the new stadium would seem to be unproductive. There's no obstructed views, so there should not be much wrong with VR, except that it's not reality.

Does any of this even matter? Benham's gonna sell our best players and do a runner with the money. We're doomed I tell you.

Maybe buy a provisional ticket, when the stadium opens have a wander around and change it if not happy and better is available.

My decision is south stand to the right or north in the middle, I can’t really decide without seeing it.

I was really hoping to have a wander around the seats before I shelled out.

I made the perfect choice with my current seat as a result of being able to wander about, look at all angles, think about the sun, physically try out leg room etc. Doubt I could factor everything in quite like this on a computer model.

I did exactly the same but I didn't factor in the bloke behind me. Maybe we could have an open day and pay the "characters" to sit in their seats for the day just to see if we can tolerate them for a few hours every couple of weeks.

rofl. Could we stick everyone in virtual situ one day then take part in some sort of video conference to help us pick out the tosspot hotspots? Wouldn't want to sit anywhere near your family, for example, given the evidence you supply on the annoyed thread. rofl ;)

Really not keeping up with it all. My bad but struggling.

Don't worry it will all become clear soon.
Also the people at reservation centre will be used for us normal folk once they are done with the posh seats.

It’s dawning on me that we’ll have to sit down. I’ve done it before. It’s not that bad. OMG!
