No we couldn't.. Daniels wanted (and deserved) 1st team football.
That’s fair enough, but I find it strange that he was happy to sit on our bench for 4 years (which maybe he didn’t expect when he first signed but must of done when he extended his contract) but now wants first team football when he would be an injury or dip in form for Raya, away from playing Prem football.

Yeah maybe. But suspect he's B Team too
I wonder if he’s a B-team but also first team kind of guy, bit like Bidstrup. Hard to see him being keen to join our B-team alone as would indicate he’s a way off first team football - wouldn’t be much of an improvement over where he is now.

Guess we’ve got the proven and pretty well trodden pathway now so even B-team alone is more appealing than the equivalent elsewhere!

Yeah it could be, but Bidstup is clearly First Team now. And was signed as such AFAIK.

Anyway, there's certainly more to come ;)

He's surely B team? He's only 18 and would fit into the same bracket as Oyegoke. We'll no doubt try and get them training with the first asap if they do well and they may well find themselves in cup squads.. He's not going to expect to go straight into the first team even if he DOES come from Chelsea... The issue with the kids leaving Chelsea is that they can't see a pathway into the first team squad until they're in their mid twenties, if even then..

Maybe Brennan Johnson? More low-key signing, but definitely a guy destined for the top. Was a menace for Lincoln last season.

Been kept out of their pre-season squads too.

I've said it before, but I just checked work permit and Yacine Adli would pass. Lots of European clubs after him, though. A #10 who could play 8 or even out wide. A good talent and wouldn't be too expensive thanks to Ligue 1's problems.

I did think that but if you google "chewed biros", that's literally the first image. I don't think there's more science than that :ROFLMAO:

At least one more before the end of the month.

Maybe more to come thereafter.

Are we discounting B team signings from this?

So one more for the first team before the end of the month?

I suspect a winger and at the moment they are deciding if Valencia is up to it, if not ship out and bring in another.

We have made a very good start to our summer recruitment, but yes I would expect a couple more in through the door! By the end of the month basically means within the next week, which isn't too bad...

I dunno, but it seems we are still very active in the market.

Thanks mate.

Good to hear. We are still a few short IMO. But cant be easy for the club without paying silly money.

Has Ademola Lookman moved on from RB Leipzig?

He looked like Brentford's next forward while playing for the other lot.

I would like to see him here but maybe he is a little too rich for us after his efforts last season.

No links- but bet loftus cheek looking for anouther loan move.

Malang sarr as well did well at porto last year.....

Both loans qnd know loans are not brentford way but may have to go into loan market so we have strength in depth.....

Loftus didnt set world a light last year but has experience on his side now and still young...

Good thought, Palace are interested at £16M. Roy Hodgson really rated him

Price is a bit steep. Flatters to deceive. Also has the Fulham stench on him, remember they only scored 9 goals at home last year.
I agree to pricey but Palace is odd, they have Zaha in that position and when fit Eze could play there too. I do wonder if Leipzig are wanting to sell him or loan him out for another season

Zero end product. His one strength, I think players like Mbuemo, Onyeka should be pretty good at, progressing the ball into the attacking third.

So doesn't offer anything new there either.

I don't believe that no 😂 The top half of the Prem looks very solid this year.

So the third one is this MPH chap.

But that is not the end of it.

Keep believing. I think we could be challenging for Top 6.

Sounds exciting though! Is the Chelsea kid for the first team or B team?
