Looking through the Tribus catalogue there is some pretty bland stuff but I think I'm going to have to get myself one of these come what May.

"It’s time to bring Swiss watchmaking precision to TW8."

🤮
Is that in Kurt script?! :ROFLMAO:

Could've had; "watches, a la Brentford."

Missed a trick there I think, :(

What does this watch do, apart from tell the time?

How much is it?

It "shouts" every expletive ever used at Griffin Park. It tells the time in Mr Biggar's eyes, always 8 minutes slow. It doesn't have Fergie time though, that's an extra "app".

The alarm tones are: "F Off Ref", "Open your F'ing eyes" and "Frank Out!".

It costs as much as you have in your bank account. Plus more for updated ringtones, alarms and match details etc.

Plus, it's available in all colours, well....... Yellow, Dark Green and Burgandy actually.

Otherwise, enjoy!

Does it come in Special blue edition which is nothing like the original pocket watch from 1904?

More than likely. :banghead:

What are we turning into?! It's like a Daily Mirror advert for the Chelsea European title winning team. Or another Man U pile of crap wristwatch. Or...... Liverpool finally winning the EPL!!!

ps. I'll have two. :)

We buy the watch cheap, keep it a year, and once it has appreciated in value we sell it onto one of the Fulham supporting tofs for a huge profit and with a 25% sell on clause.

For another £500 the super deluxe version chimes on the hour the immortal, "You don't wanna go up Brentford".

Does it ring on 56 minutes past the hour to celebrate Djuricin's goal against Rangers?

“Wearing this watch will feel like standing on the Royal Oak v Sheffield United in 1979”*

* not an actual quote but the sort of sh*t I expected to see

"... with a case back made from melted-down material from the four corners of Griffin Park."

Sounds a little unpleasant.

What if it looks like a turd?
Well, if the Liverpool Champions League watches that they make are anything to go by, they will look like turd. And they’re about a grand each..... and the watch ‘expert’ at work has never heard of Tribus.

No wonder the ”expert” never heard of the company, its fairly new Liverpool-based.
More here Introducing TRIBUS, A New UK Based Watch Brand With Pedigree - Worn & Wound.
Yep - I read this article too. The "It’s time to bring Swiss watchmaking precision to TW8" strapline appears to be more along the lines of "Three scouse brothers bring a bag of scrap metal from TW8 to TW8"

The watch will undoubtedly be a turd but I don't know, it's 'our' turd and despite all the nonsense written in the promo stuff I think the bastards have hooked me. I need one.

My favourite bit of the promo is... "Griffin Park was a gladiatorial arena, a furnace lifting and destroying players in equal measure..." I can only assume the author of this wasn't present when were 3 down after an hour at home to Dagenham & Redbridge on a cold Tuesday night in October in 2007 and pinning our hopes of a comeback on Lee Thorpe.

Where is this picture lifted from?
It's on here.

Also, I wonder where they got some of the other pictures from?!

mine is being made from the kettle in the home dressing room. So a brand new kettle from an old kettle. Can't be bad

Because the watch doesn’t have a calculator or space invaders, I’m out.

Just seen the pre-order prices. Not much change from £2,000 whichever of the 3 versions you want. I somehow don't think my Mrs will be buying one for me for Christmas

I really wanted to like this watch but take out the connection with GP and what you're left with isn't great in my opinion. Not at that price anyway. There are some well respected/established watch brands out there that flog far superior watches for less.

Anyway, where do I pre-order?

Was interested but 2 bags does seem a bit steep.
