Only one for me Ivan grabbing ball and giving it to Bryan for penalty. Shows how good team spirit is within squad.
Also reality check of what we were used to week in week out 15 years ago.

That's my on pitch moment.

Loved all the old school chants, and "Champions of League Two, You'll Never Sing That."

Was gutted not to be there, looked like a great throwback atmosphere which would have thrown up many champagne moments of its own.

Having watched the match remotely, I have to say there wasn’t many moments of unbelievable individual skill.

Mbeumo’s second was great though, he was toying with them. And some of Baptiste’s involvement off the bench oozed class.

Not being kerbside when white van man deliberately went through the large puddle and sprayed the sh*t out of my brother who made a good umbrella for me on the way from Longport station up to the place called dirge. He got the full puddle, totally soaked.

After the team had come over and done their "thanks" etc. and started retiring to the dressing room. Some very young child left the away end and run about 40 yards to ask (I think) Mad Bech for his shirt by which time he was most of the way back to the tunnel. Having got the shirt he then turned and ran back. All the time not one steward battered an eyelid let alone notice to intervene. Needless to say his dad was very happy...

Great to watch, but you have to wonder about League Two stewarding capabilities!

Brilliant day all round. Highlights included the friendly social club pre match, sit where you want, our new keeper, MBS (future captain?) and Stevens performances, Bidstrup running the show, Atomic at half time and explaining to my son the importance of Debbie Harry during my formative years 🥰, their Norman Collier PA system, Brian give us a wave, The wonder of you, Vale making a game of it in the second half, Toney giving the ball to Bryan and Bryan’s hat trick. Lastly, not forgetting where we’ve come from. I love the FA Cup!

The PA System was definitely not a champagne installation!
I've watched a couple of vlogs, from Vale fans, and the PA System seemed to be working OK in the stand to our left.

The lights going off in the away stand in the second half. A nice reminder of Griffin Park.

Also, nice, friendly stewards who were all very welcoming and wished that I enjoy the game and my trip to the Wembley of the North.

Can’t complain at San Miguel being £3.50 a pint either!

The lino managed to avoid the ball twice by letting the ball through his legs. Are they not allowed to touch the ball? Do they get fined if they do?

When I started lining at a more senior level I was told by refs not to stop the ball, whether accidentally or deliberately, when it was running out of play. The concern was that the officials could be accused of facilitating a quick throw-in and thus favouring one side or the other.

Not a problem in a stadium when the ball probably wasn't going to run very far, but dirty looks from players when the lino dodged the ball and the player had to go 30 yards to get it back.

A flat beer moment was when Vale sang “where were you when you were sh*t?” and it didn’t get met with “we were here”.

Bryan’s cameo! A fine hatrick and finally hitting the correct part of the goalpost.

Was nearly Toney's effort when he swivelled in the centre circle and took aim. For a second it looked perfect but sadly his shot lacked the legs and fell comfortably for the keeper.

Yeah no problems at all, friendly outside before going in and didn't see one when in the stand when watching the game.

My Champagne moment was pre-match when I saw the car park (£5) was full so turned up the appropriately named Park Road opposite, where we used to park before. Yellow lines on one side but parking opposite that was full... until a car pulled out! Then going into the cafe between there and the entrance, getting a full English, with tea, toast and 1 extra item, for £9.60! That's £9.60 for two of us!! The game was entertaining, with a full-on view of all Bryan's goals from behind the goal to give extra fizz.

£9.60 for 2 with extras! These Northerners don't don't how lucky they are!
