Exciting little cameo for him today, looked comfortable on the ball, got around well, obviously will be much tougher tests ahead but looks like we could have unearthed another little gem here.
Tough to tell after such a cameo against a team like Coventry but he looks some talent from what seen almost beckenbauer esque . So damn calm and collected on ball.
Only player missing from squad is a seasoned championship midfield general who can drag us though games against opposition like Preston even if they can’t hack it in premier league

Christmas? Wasn’t it 4 to 6 weeks? And it’s been 2 weeks already
TF in his pre-match Press Conference said 8 weeks, I think. Didn’t say when he‘d started counting from though...
On the bright side, VJ didn’t look out of place. Might be an option in future alongside CN, for those grinding away games when we can’t blow teams away. A Mourinho(?) ‘double pivot’?

Some offensive posting above. Mods please have a look.

I believe I heard Norgaard out for up to eight weeks. Mid-October to mid-December could easily become Christmas.

One thing I have never been is dishonest, in any walk of life. Pipe down with the aggression please. Just because I am not your particular cup of tea does not mean others may not appreciate my input. On other threads, just because you don't find something humerous or relevant doesn't mean that others might not.

That is some praise!

Some on here said we didn't bolster the midfield. Looks like we have done that.

Thought he looked strong defensively but some of his passing was a bit loose but I'll put that down to not being match sharp

Can't believe the comments of some on here, quotes by Phil Giles and Thomas Frank have just been re-quoted and the posters have been
made to look like they are liars.

Thanks. And it's the language and tone used. I know for sure that if one particular comment above were directed in the opposite direction the originator would find himself in hot water. Double standards, or drink?

Really impressed with Janelt yesterday. Thought it was an excellent debut considering the previous lack of game time.

Looking at the time of the post, I'd say the latter. Like many the morning after, there'll be some embarrassment there I think & that will be deleted. Shame we can't all delete posts the next day when we've thought a bit longer, eh?

Looking forward to Janelt getting stuck in to Wednesday and Stoke at some point. And for the record, I had also read beforehand from an official BFC statement that Janelt was some way off the first team.

What I read from Bochum fans suggested Janelt has talent but lacks consistency. He's young so hopefully the latter aspect will improve. Certainly he looked useful yesterday.

I think that will come with improved fitness, also young players tend to be a bit inconsistent.

I put that down to unfamiliarity with his colleagues. He often turned into space and took time to realise where his options were. Give him a few weeks and that will become distinctive. One of the most promising cameos I have seen for a first game!

Depending on which bits you like, I'd enjoy it while you can because some of the entertainment above will not be here for very long at all.
I have an ear for humour and irony and I thought it might be an “in joke”, or something drearily drole, like that. Most of us forget that we’re in a public place from time to time, especially when we spend loads of time here. I thought your measured response echoed the genius of your namesake. Mustard.
But my comment refers mainly to the positive and fair assessments of the signings progress.

Good. Sorry, yes. Self-indulgent of me. And enough now. Let's focus on the player. Very excited about this one. Our DoF's are genius aren't they?

Window is shut , we have what we have and it will be good enough to keep us in the Championship anything else is a bonus

Hate to use superlatives about people doing their jobs, but they seem to be right on it. The right amount of patience, is probably the most difficult thing to measure. Ask any horse.

Big and strong with an eye for a pass. Really impressed considering he has just had 1 B game. Looks as if he could also be useful in going forward as well as defensive duties.

Normal bullshit from that poster.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

As most of my posts contain at least a small dollop of bull, mince or toffee, I feel I should at the least stand alongside individuals who are being accused of talking pants. It is harder to tolerate, but somehow its a more understanding platform when we do. Like marriage, it's hard to please anyone at any time. I'll leave an Ionesco 🦏 because I can.

Mellow Taliskers all round 🥃

oh yes and Vitaly looks like a prospect, typical Bees, getting better and better, infinite and eternal 👍🐝

Impressed. He's a big strong defensive unit with mobility. Conservative in that he looks to give the ball to our skilful players but I suspect that was purely not wishing to make a mistake on his debut. I'm sure that when his confidence and fitness develop he will start to take the initiative.Good for us as Norgaard can be rested.

Yep. Great player to have as a back up. We’ll be better when Norgaard is back but this guy will make sure we won’t miss him as much!

Did the job asked of him. Will be good to see him once hes fully up to speed. In and out of the game but did well.

Thought he was very good. Did the job asked of him. Sit in front of the back four and protect them!
I couldn't have asked for more from him tonight. Having a backup to Christian or an option to play them both in more difficult circumstances is a complete luxury and will directly mean points at the end of the season.

I was thinking the same thing, for some tough away games where we might be up against it, a midfield three of him, Norgaard and DaSilva would be very competitive.

I think the stats men have worked out the formula for a defensive midfield baller😉 Early days but stood tall tonight, played it simple mostly but occasionally sprayed some lovely passes, won second balls and was a good guard for the back four. More time with the team and he will only improve. Happy with him as a stand in for Norgaard

Composed, mobile, strong and can deliver a mean dead ball. To come from a mid-table team in the 2 Bundesliga and step into Christian’s shoes like that in his first start is some performance. Nice one son ;)

I think he could well be more than that if he keeps performing at the level of his first 110/20 minutes

Has a bloody good left foot and an eye for a pass.. Already taking some of our set pieces.. Doesn't look like he's going to get knocked off the ball easily either. Looks like another top acquisition!

Another potential gem unearthed by our recruitment team. We are awash with left footed players which seems to make us very balanced.

Liked what I saw of him, won a lot of tackles, didn’t give away any silly free kicks, very disciplined performance.
It's always quite interesting looking at whoscored stats after the game. According to this he had 0 tackles, whilst Jensen had 3.. !

Anyway, thought he was very good too and looks a real prospect but just goes to show how our perception can sometimes be slightly different from what actually happend!

Either that or whoever did Whoscored stats for the game today got very confused!! 😀

The Sky commentator was confused too, mistaking Fosu for Henry more than once.

Completely agree as he appears to be more of a physical unit but still has a nice cushioned touch/pass. Early days but given the early reports were that it would take time for him to adapt it would seem he is quite adaptable. Fingers crossed he develops quickly

£500k was the reported fee wasn't it? For a 22yr old with U21 caps. Imagine what you would pay if he was English. Another pat on the back for the DOFs, looks very assured.
