That's my route.....
Currently showing as diverting via Zeals and taking 3 hours rather than 2:30.......
Found my route, pick my brother up from South Petherton back through Yeovil to A30 to sherborne onto Shaftsbury, around Hindon and Chilmark and rejoin A303.Cheers.
I'm planning on leaving at 12:00, so hopefully should still have plenty of time to get to LR (via The Griffin....)
That's an awful route, though, as it almost all single carriageway and tractors at this time of year! I used to work at McDonald’s at Fleet Services. I once served Charlie Oatway shortly after he played for us whilst he was playing for Brighton. His pals thought it hilarious that I recognised him - true storyJust home.
Bloody nightmare journey up. Left at 12:00 and took 2 hours to do the first 20 miles on A303....
Finally parked up in Braemar Road at 16:30. Walked to ground, and just managed a pre match pint in West Stand before KO......
Luckily 303 was clear on way back, so only took 3 hours including a stop at Fleet (which was wall to wall with Bees!!!)
