Ultra High Importance
Sat 15:00 Blackburn v West Brom
Sun 13:30 Swansea v Leeds

Quite Important
Fri 18:00 Huddersfield v Luton SKY TV - Huddersfield 2nd out of 3 opponents for WBA. Need Huddersfield interesting in surviving - probably a draw (and maybe a win for Huddersfield)
Fri 20:15 Fulham v Cardiff SKY TV- we are in playoffs now, a Fulham win would eliminate them from a top 2 possibility. However on the other hand you may consider that if Fulham win then they will be up for a fight v West Brom on Tuesday. So, probably a Fulham win to be honest....
Sat 12:30 Charlton v Reading - need Charlton interested in surviving - they have Leeds in their last fixture
Sat 15:00 Barnsley v Wigan - need Barnsley interested in surviving - they have Leeds next.
Sun 13:30 Stoke v Birmingham SKY TV- need Stoke safe before we play them. Stoke Win

Don't Care
Sat 15:00 Hull v Millwall
Sat 15:00 Middlesbro v Bristol C
Sat 15:00 Preston v Forest
Sat 15:00 QPR v Sheff Wed

Surely we need Luton to win? This will keep Huddersfield interested needing points in their remaining games.

Agreed. Probably could do with Charlton not winning too, otherwise they'll start to pull away from the relegation zone.

Probably doesn't matter as they will still be wanting to win in the next couple of fixtures as there won't be a set of results that can send anyone down before then really.

Forgetting the Wigan factor. If their points deductions stand then a win tonight for Huddersfield will put them on 50 points and more than safe IMO.

2-0 now. Quite a turnaround after no shots at all in the first half.
Would be a massive three points for them and will make Huddersfield nervy. They will need to win at least one more and let's hope next Friday.

Top 2 Chances after outcome of Fulham v Cardiff
Fulham Win: 14.6%
Draw: 15.2%
Cardiff Win: 15.2%

So not really material, but a Cardiff win or draw is perf.

On the other hand, if Fulham win then we are guaranteed a top 5 place!

Again, we need a Fulham win so they have something to play for on Tuesday night.

And to encourage Swansea to go above Cardiff into 6th place by beating Leeds on Sunday......

Would add a Cardiff win would put pressure on Swansea and Blackburn. We need both to have an incentive to win this weekend.

Or a Cardiff loss would open the door slight more for those two and therefore....

Yet, but in Cardiff lose then that might give Derby a fillip for tomorrow!
We can deal with Derby ourselves, whether they have incentive or not. We are just too good for them.

...yep...and if preston beat forest tomorrow...they've got incentive too.....so we just have to beat all comers......truth is... fulham winning tonight keeps all teams down to 11th place honest....the play off positions as with relegation are tight.

Interesting that right now on the BBC sport website, according to their Championship table, that they have us playing Cardiff!!!!
Both teams showing played 43, and Fulham only 42.

Amazing!

Wonder when they’ll correct it.

They’ve just corrected it. We will still staying in 3rd, regardless of Fulham’’s result, just for a minute!

We seem alarmingly blase on here about what is quite a difficult game tomorrow! Derby may not have played tha well last couple of games but it is by no means going to be a walkover.

I don’t think anyone’s blasé about Derby, it’s just that we have to win, so contemplating anything other than a victory is just too depressing to think about after the effort/results since lockdown. I’m channeling Italia 90’s “we’re not going home” for the next four games. We’re not going away.

Precisely.
We have to base our hopes about the results in other games, on the fact that we have to win our last 4 for a chance of auto.....

You’re quite right, but luckily it’s not we on GPG who have to play the games and it makes a change from manic moaning. Long may it continue imho.

Can’t work out where I want the PNE - Forest game to go on the account Swansea play Forest mid week, if Swansea were to win Leeds, Forest and forest lose both, Swansea would go above forest in 5th. But that also means PNE have all to play for when we play them mid week as well.forest could still fail to get into the playoffs

Surely anything that sees Forest out of the play offs is good

We need to finish 3rd at least & take our chances against any of the current teams vying for that 6th spot, have to accept Fulscum & Forest will finish 3rd,4th or 5th & would feel confident to beat Fulscum in semi's if we had to, but under no circumstances do I fancy playing Forest over 2 legs with their anti-football, cheating tactics, Save them for the final & dish out the sweetest revenge possible.

I know, it’s just that usually when we start to get a bit confident and cocky.......

Just looking at West Brom's final 3 matches...I must admit I've always thought of QPR and Fulham as my "second teams"...

Agreed. A play-off semi v Forest is the least desirable outcome right now

Forget QPR. We need to be ahead of WBA before then - look at their performance today - shockingly bad.

QPR won't get anything.

They're not so much "on the beach" as checking-in to a half-way house for a spell.
Yep their last game is a gimme really, as (I hope) will ours. Huddersfield might be tricky though, can be difficult to break down and they should be fighting hard.
