Where to watch extended highlights of matches?

Championship clubs have ifollow, established PL clubs have their own TV stations.

However, where can we watch extended highlights, or match replays of these legendary games this season? More than a 6min montage would be ideal. These are incredible times, every moment needs to be savoured.

Search the internet.

There’s a link to the full match on another thread.

I am yet to see a legal link available in the UK

Probably because there’s copyright and people don’t want the EPL and Sky after them….

There should be some subscription based option like ifollow/MUTV etc for watching extended highlights IMHO

Exactly, so essentially no legitimate links have been provided.

So you know the answer to your question in post one then!

Indeed, it was a rhetorical question. The thread is to raise awareness on behalf of bees fans so they can watch extended highlights of these games. I would think that would be something you would want to get behind rather than make pointless sarcastic snipes that distract from the thread's purpose.

Can we please have extended highlights of matches?

No snipes at all. You asked a question. You got an answer that the full match is available via a link on another thread.

The 6 minute highlights are available via the Clubs website.

If there are longer extended highlights then the Club will show them via their YouTube channel.

Don’t be so touchy…..🙄

It's a straightforward question and I don't know why the poster is getting a hard time.

I don't know what the score is with highlight/replays. We'll try to find out.

Thank you Nana

Don't Sky Sports do an Extended Highlights show for every PL game? I remember you could pick your game on the red button on Saturday evenings and would assume that would be included in their on demand service?

May be wrong as haven't had Sky Sports for a while, nor had much interest in the PL for a while longer. Even if true, requires a Sports subscription of course

Sky box offers a 2 hour edit of Bees v Arsenal - which is I think the whole game without the chat - or 3 minute highlights which are also free on skysports.com.

Not sure if you want something in between that. Match of the Day is available on iPlayer?

By the way Crystal Palace away is being shown (1 hour 45 mins) at 2am on Saturday night / Sunday morning on Sky Sports Premier League, they have their normal "game of the day" and "match choice" earlier in the evening which might be the longest extended highlights you'll find.

Thanks for this, think that was what I referring to. Have just seen that last week's games are all on demand on the Sky box too if you have a Sports subscription.

DSTV Show 20 minute highlights throughout the week in Sub Sahara Africa. Being a lightweight I've only watched us stuff Arsenal 5 times in addition to be able to watch the game live with my line manager who's a Gooners fan. A perfect Friday night........

I noticed on the fans view compilation on the OS a moment of silent between canos striking the ball and the crowd going nuts. Not notice this dip in noise before. Guess it's conversation s stopping and breaths in preparation to cheer.

OK, managed to perform a bit of research on this.

On social media, clubs are permitted to show very limited highlights (2 mins?) at 10pm on the day of the game and 10 mins highlights at midnight the day after (Midnight Saturday/Sunday in the case of our Arsenal match, but will be Midnight Sunday/Monday for Saturday games).

For their our website clubs are permitted to show whatever they like the day after a match. Provided it is a paid-for service like iFollow.

Now I think the club haven't been putting videos on iFollow for a while instead preferring YouTube? YT is (of course) social media so subject to the limitations above.

Nor I have seen any comms around putting full match replays on the club's website and charging us for the privilege of watching it - nor would I be able to estimate the demand for such a service at (say) £60-70 a year.

My guess is that the club is parking this issue until next season when they have their all-singing and crashing new website. In the meantime we will have to put up with the 10 minute highlights and MotD.

Sky showed the game again in full, also BT show match highlights too.

I paid for iFollow this season just in the hope of better highlights, as we got last year, but Arse all so far.

As for YouTube, there's only 5:10 of actual game highlights from the Arsenal game, and it doesn't even include the Pinnock moment.

So the only point of continuing to pay for iFollow is to listen live now? Jeez. I've just wasted the past year of payments as I've rarely watched any of the extended highlights and I got all the freebies as a season ticket holder. I even paid for some of the others. On the other hand, maybe I should get my money's worth for now and go through the archive.

not sure where else to post this but does anyone know why the club aren’t uploading ore & post match interviews anymore? I watched them all religiously the last few years since they’ve been on YouTube and on beesplayer before that. Watched TF’s 30 minute pre Arsenal one but they’ve since taken it down. Nothing appeared for pre-match Palace. Cheers

Agree. If any of the club media team are reading this, please focus less on some of the soccer AM plastic gimmick stuff with Arsenal fan TV and what type of corn flakes Pontus Jansson eats, and focus more on on providing the bread and butter....I.e. extended highlights and interviews.

If it is a dependable service, I'm sure most bees fans would be happy to pay for a subscription.

If no video highlights/replays are available via iFollow, why do the packages state "Access audio commentary and premium video content throughout the season" -- that sounds like mis-selling to me.

Totally agree.

It's hard to find pre and post match interviews, some seem to get posted on some social media platforms but not on others.

Why not just post them on say YouTube so that fans know where to go to get them?

I started watching a post match with TF from the Palace game on Facebook and the questions had been edited out. Was all a bit weird. Feels like they are trying to be clever (like the filter used on pictures on social media that makes everyone look very yellow - might just be me but again a bit weird) than just getting the basics right.

I tried to get the extended highlights of the Palace game tonight but they do not appear to have them?

They've put up a full match replay of Forest Green on iFollow now (without waiting for implementation of an all-singing and crashing new website). From the above, it sounds as if they could have done the same for the 2 league games as well, but haven't for some reason.

...and a full match replay of the Arsenal game is up too. I wonder if games appear once they are no longer available via catch up on Sky?

If that's the case, then I'd be expecting the Palace game to pop up tomorrow, and Villa in a week's time.

Think they are just catching-up.

You would be surprised how few subscribe and those that do mostly do it for live content. Highlights and interviews are now easily available and the sort of stuff you are complaining about is where the opportunities are.

...although to access the full match replays, you have to log in to your iFollow account, so it's a bit of a half-hearted rename.

There does seem to be a gap in the offering for extended highlights unless I am missing something.
I want someone to see Toney's "high boot" against Villa. I recorded the extended showing on Sky on Sunday morning and saw it. It wasn't on Match of the Day's brief highlights apparently. I wonder where I would direct them to see something like that if they don't have access to the full 90 minute replay.

Still not sure about this……

Where is it possible to watch longer than 2 minutes worth of highlights from our league games, or the brief MOTD coverage, if there’s no access to recording Sky?
Should they be available (at some point) on our YouTube channel? or iFollow/Bees Player??

It's looking as if full match replays on BeesPlayer / iFollow will be home games only, as Palace & Villa never turned up. If you care enough, you can register on the Palace site then watch the full match back - haven't checked Villa.

I assume we'll get Brighton extended highlights and full match replay soon, though

Still no Brighton highlights on iFollow/Beesplayer, and only 2 minutes worth on Official YouTube channel.

So it seems like we can only watch extended highlights of League Cup games and not PL games..............(apart from Arsenal, for some reason...........)

All replays should be available.

Email Stuart Soccer AM and ask him why the other's aren't there...
