I really don't want to miss Saturday's game and with free coach travel it seems to good to miss, but all my friends are poor students so I have no one to go with :(

Free coach travel, cheap admission even a student should be able to afford that.

I've done alone away days, you don't care when you're watching it... Ok half time's boring but during the game you end up talking to randomers around you.

I go to lots of away games on my own, including this one.

Go to most home games with my dad, but hes not as keen as me to get a coach to Sheffield at 7am for some reason! If I cant persuade any mates to go, I dont let it stop me. My advice is just to go for it-Most Brentford fans are a friendly bunch, and whenever I have gone away on my todd ive always ended up making friends tbh!

If you want someone to sit with on the coach, and grab a beer with though more than happy!

Yeah but some are right weirdos. Be careful who you speak to.

:imwith:

Be careful of those now living in the shires. They were removed from society for a reason.

Anyway, back to topic, you'll be fine. With 1000+ souls there, someone will say 'hello', just be grateful you're not going on the coach with an Italian Putney Poser lover. :yuck:

sorry......but couldn't see anything on the official BFC website about free coach travel v Sheff Utd.
perhaps its me.....but I think this needs promoting to a wider audience?
Maybe even a seperate thread on the GPG?

So far we have Hadleigh Bee, Nick Logan & Alex Callow. One more and you can share a cab from Brentford home?

Thank you so much Womble for your extremely kind words..........but just to update you:-
1. Eyesight not too bad....... but still can't see my hand behind my back.
2. Yes, must confess to being a bit mutt n'.......but usually comes in handy when its my round.
3. Still Haven't seen a thread entitled FREE TRAVEL TO SHEFFIELD on here....but hey-ho.
4. Rarely have time to visit OS as well as GPG......and didn't notice anything about it when I visited OS this morning.
5. Much too ancient, and busy, to bother with showing how important I am, & how many friends I have on Facebook.
6. ****ter.....what the hell's that all about?
7. Ask PG to speak up a bit.....can't quite hear him here in SW France.
8. BIAS......secret society....... too nervous to visit.
9. Beesotted.....a rival gang?...... but let me know when/where the punch-up is.
10. HAVE A NICE DAY!

That's quite bizarre and slightly scary you remember this, as I don't!

Maybe we can get a loners coach going so we can all sit in an awkward silence there and back.

On a more serious (boring!) note chaps. Anyone going from Woking on the coach can park all day in the stations long term car park for £3.00-- yawn--
