Would be nice if the club didn’t act like they’re a premiership club yet ? ;) Any chance of this happening anytime soon?

Because we were so lucky to have had the multi coloured seats, we are the only ground in the country that looks like it’s getting crowds........................no , I really mean that......really

Saw a few on a tour of the stadium yesterday in the West Stand. Only a smattering though.

Someone was hanging up flags at the back of the West Stand this morning.

Get some proper flags up, not those fake ones!!
agree......its something a premership club would put thinking no one would notice......never seen any of those fkin flags at an away game in the last 40 years........sort it out brentford and stop trying to be clever with chaps who know the score

Everyone knows the Insurance Bees are the top Brentford faces and have been for decades.

Aren't they some of the ones which were laid around GP for our last few games?

I assume they were the ones that got printed en masse at the end of last season and have simply been moved from GP to LR.

Pity no one will ever see them, wouldn’t it have been better to put them at the back of the north stand?
No cos that’s where ours are going

I'm curious... how many flags are missing? Have the owners asked the club to hang them? Looks like quite a few from the last games at GP are now up at LR.

If they've asked and been rejected that's a different story...

To be fair to Voice, those modern (cheaper) printed flags do look a bit sh*t up against the glass (or whatever it is) as it highlights how thin and cheap they are.

That’s not the club’s fault though. Voice needs to take it up with the fans of the same club he supports.

Perhaps those complaining about the flags could let us know what they’ve done to improve what’s on offer.

Or does the curse of the keyboard warrior strike again?

Perhaps only flags that were at Workington in 1977 should be allowed and we should tell the yoof that they aren’t proper Brentford.

They look tacky anyway. I know Brentford is in England without the stadium being plastered in St Georges flags
Agreed, we don’t need dozens of cheap St George’s flags up.

I would be adverse to a flag from each of our players’ nations but down properly

A proper flag = One with history, preferably one made for flying. One that states one's Club without personal data like "Freddy", "Wally", Sharon etc. Area where one lives is fine or even a place postcode eg. Hanwell W7.
Small printed flags that are made from cheap material have no place in football grounds IMO.
Our fans have some proper flags, as Voice stated, these flags were put under the camera last season
and the cr@p ones were on show.
The Club shoud've let Tidy hang the flags!!

I quite like "Insurance Bees"

Surely we can get some other occupations to club together too? Like "COVID Warden Bees"?

Burglar Bees? You're safe at the game 'cos we are.

BTW, should the thread title be updated?

Sounds a bit like cock waving talk. And didn't the flags with history start out with none? ;)
We’re talking about proper flags that were seen up and down the country(And abroad at various wc and euros) at lower league grounds for the last 30plus yesrs....NOT mass produced cheap looking identikit St. George’s with nonsense written on them like ‘insurance bees’ FFS.....I suppose those ones compliment the seat colours perfectly though When you think about it ??

We should certainly have these up. How many have we got, a dozen or so? Plenty of space for newer ones too.
