This is potentially our most difficult game left. Hard to call - they have 7 clean sheets on the spin, are top of the form league and that run includes a win at West Brom. However, they realistically have nothing to play for now and our confidence is building with every game. Depending on tomorrow, we may even have a chance of going 2nd on Saturday.

Therefore, I am going for a 2-0 win on Saturday and like Fulham, it will be the subs on 60 mins that decide it.

Baptiste & Benrahma to score.

Tight and a fairly scrappy and frustrating game.
Late goal 1-0 Watkins

1-0 Emiliano 97th minute. Lord Matthew of Benham invades the pitch and plants a smacker on Emi's forehead!

Yeah I will put a win here, 2-0...this shouldn't be taken as a given though, their form has been highlighted already but both teams are on fantastic form. They may start to take the foot off the gas soon though given they're in all likelihood safe. We just need to keep doing what we're doing, not take anything for granted, and hope that we can come away with the win.

The two form sides. No goals conceded in months by either side. Got to be 0-0!...….. No way! Goal fest...…. 4-0!

* The above assumes that players continue in exactly the same vein when not in possession of the ball (room for improvement in possession after tonight though!!).

Can't be easy travelling on the day for them, especially travelling apart.

Have been thinking this about our great start too....
2 home games and 2 'local' aways must have helped in some ways under the current restrictions......

7 clean sheets on the trot is a plus for us in my opinion. Another one would be an 8 fold, far rarer than a 7 fold. 2-1 Bees and a cardboard pitch invasion as we go second. Attendance 0.

Always been a bogey team for me, (I first saw them beat Chelsea in the FA Cup in the early 80's). Take an ugly 1-0 now and happily move on.

I know we won the last 6 games in 91/92 to win the title, and I know we have won 4 on the trot now and are playing like a team possessed but we have to fail to win sooner or later

Brentford 2 Wigan 0 😎😎😎

Whatever the stats show, class doesn’t always win. Reading just didn’t have enough last night, with Brentford in this mood. Should win 3-1. Wigan console themselves that nobody else has laid a glove on us. Valencia will get another screamer. He can’t stop now.

They are all going to be difficult. Thomas has the key when he emphasises the importance of being humble and respecting the opposition. if we approach it aiming at giving our very top performance then we will win it.Key again will be a clean sheet and taking what comes our way.

I'm sure the Sky commentator said WBA stayed in a hotel nearby before their game with us. Suspect Wigan will do the same. Then travel on two coaches.

If we play to our ability, again, we shouldn't have to worry about any other team.

2-0 Bees.

We've only played three games since the restart, two away and only one at home, not two.

I took it that he meant Wigan will be our second home game in that 2 and 2 equation.

Not sure where else to put this, but Wigan Athletic have just announced they have gone into administration.

Why? Nothing you can do about it, nor anyone at BFC.

Players need to be at their best on Saturday and win. That's it.

Vey interesting now given today's news. How does that affect the Wigan team. A cracking run they are on. Where they aware of the goings on before today.

I reckon a tight 2-1. Big Pontus with the winner. Rips off his shirt to reveal a Forever Brentford tattoo to compliment the Malmo one

We're "on a magic carpet ride", so I'm keeping the faith with Wigan predicting we'll keep on keeping on as a quitter never wins.

Have you ever been on a trawler with Eric Cantona, fishing for pilchards, mate?

Going to be driving down to Cornwall on Saturday, so will have to make do with audio commentary to accompany my journey.
May even make it down there for the second half.
