No. I'm saying we can't swap Pinnock and Reid as a partnership as Sorenson has to play left back.

Absolutely love this bloke. Pure class. Reminds me of when we had John Buttigieg and he was far to good for us. Even at 32 he is good for a few years yet. Would love to think we could sign him full time. Would be perfect in the Prem next season.

Quality. MOTM for me last night (but whole team stepped it up).
aerially very strong, positional sense of the highest and nice distribution and range of passing. So solid and Pinnock back in his proper berth on left of CD meant we had a really robust looking CB pairing.

A good game to have early in his career as many have pointed out he hasn't played much football in recent seasons. Rhodes was largely anonymous but there was one section where he won three consecutive balls in the air in the space of 5-10 seconds. That was effort, desire and determination. Exactly what this rocky defense needs right now.
He can play but is under no pressure to keep the ball, he will clear it out for a throw happily. When a defense is not playing well my first thought would be to get back to the basics of defending the area. He did that very well last night.

What an excellent post match interview on BFC website. Calm, thoughtful and articulate (and better than many of your typical football manager interviews that I’ve seen over the years). Class on the field and off it.
I agree and if we go up I think we will need some strengthening and he looks like the kind of player would be as asset with PL experience, surplus to requirements at his owning club. Given his injury ravaged past few years he might be willing to take pay cut to get back to playing regular football.

If we do go up, we dont need Pontus and Reid. Would rather invest in the next best thing in League one....
Fletcher went off injured for Stoke at Barnsley last night.
Yes, let's hope the Premier League proven quality defender continues to impress against Championship opposition.

Pontus clearly needs a loan to league one. What were we thinking not sending him out??
Love the way he just moves the attackers out the way and calmly heads the ball. We have been weak defending long balls and second balls, hopefully that was just a taste of what's to come.

Reid marking "target man" Rhodes was no contest... If Fletcher is out injured, Vokes is the only centre forward type Stoke have but he's just gone; it may be they play Powell up front...

Reid is making a huge difference... organises us, wins everything in the air, calming influence, reads the game well, fantastic distribution. Could be a massive signing!

Solid player. Seems to take no chances when defending. He’ll kick the ball into touch rather than get robbed in a risky position, which might not be as pleasing on the eye as Tarkowski always taking on the tackle and coming out on top, but has proven to be very effective. Really pleased with how he’s slotted in.

I thought he was solid. Got caught under the ball once but generally, good positioning, good physicality and just has a general level of menace that is very welcome!

I'd agree but then I think he got a bit shaken up by their young striker who was constantly buzzing about and pressing insanely hard. If he had any end product he'd be quality that lad!

One or two moments but overall very solid and reassuring presence at the heart of the defence. Excellent loan signing for both parties so far.
