Mine arrived this morning. Row F near the halfway line has the potential of a good view (unless some bollix stands up in front of me).
I'm row K hopefully near back but I wouldn't worry should be plenty of space for the sitters to find a place.

Would Wolves let us go to general sale? I seem to recall they refused when we played on Boxing Day in the Championship (so I ended up having to pick up tickets bought for me by another Bee and left with a burger van outside the away entrance!).

Ticket this time arrived by post yesterday!

I guess it depends on whether the home areas are sold out…

Best to approach via the M54, from the north. When you come down towards the stadium that way, there's a number of streets with parking (if you're early enough) and also a number of paid parking in industrial sites on the way, when you see Wickes, Screwfix, Selco, etc. This also has the advantage of not having to go through the centre of Wolverhampton in and out.

Thanks for that. Can’t remember where I parked last time. The time before that (in the 80s), we won 4-1 and we had to run to the coach!

Still not had mine yet. Are others still waiting?

Also, looking to get a couple more. Can I buy these from the box office before the game today?

Got told I didn't have access to the tickets. I've only bought one from my account so far. Aren't they now four per person? Can't see it online either.

Yep. I remember throwing a complete hissy fit when I missed us beating Tranmere 4-0 at home to take my in laws to a family do. It was a Silver Wedding anni/son's 21/daughter's 18th for my MIL's niece and children. It was truely crap. No alcohol and paper cups and plates in a village hall. Boy I stored some Brownie points that day!

Having a Wedding on a Saturday during the football season and then inviting one of the posters on here must be one of the most selfish things you could do.

Anyone have any solutions to this.......

I needed to buy an extra junior ticket for Wolves away as my son's friend is now able to attend (he was able to confirm yesterday). Due to work and some caring responsibilities for my dad and the fact that I don't live near the ground I am unable to get to the box office. After a very long conversation with Mark (I think) in the ticket office there is basically no alternative than for me to go to the box office to physically get a ticket.

I asked whether there was scope to flex the ticket policy and for one to be posted and I would accept that there could be no guarantee of delivery before Saturday (i.e. that wouldn't be the club's fault), I was told that that was not possible and was outside of the club policy. I then asked whether I could purchase a ticket and collect from the Wolves ticket office on the day, I was told that this was not possible and Wolves would not allow this. This used to be common practice but clearly is no longer.

It feels that the ways and the means to provide a ticket are there but there is no inclination to go the extra yard to help a fan/customer. Obviously I accept that some of the onus is on me, i.e. if I really wanted this extra ticket I could drive over to Kew Bridge today (although south Croydon to Kew Bridge and back in the middle of the working day is not really practical) and yes my son's friend's late confirmation is not the club's problem. Just all feels a bit rubbish especially when Mark admitted that the reason that the tickets come off sale so early on the website and it's box office only is because they are under resourced and don't have the time to keep sending out physical tickets leading up to the game.

Maybe I am wrong and I am expecting too much here and my anger following the conversation earlier is not letting me think objectively.

I'm in Croydon and have got fk all to do apart from reading the GPG so if the TO are happy to accept 3rd party collections, let us know and I'll pop over

I've emailed the club and awaiting a response. If what they come back with is still unhelpful I'll float the 3rd party collections option. I hope they see sense but that is an amazing offer.

I tried to buy an extra one in person on Saturday and was told I couldn't buy. Just spoke to the club who said "the policy changed over the weekend". Not exactly the most helpful, as I will also now have to go along during a work day this week to get one.

That's even more annoying that my situation as at least you were trying to buy in person whilst you were there. Funnily enough I can't see anything in the communications for this fixture that say when online/phone transactions ceased and there is mention of being able collect at Wolves but that looks like for overseas fans.

For some reason Wolves don’t like away fans being able to collect tickets. When we last played them in the Championship I had them bought in person by another GPGer and had to collect them from a burger bar by the away end as I was delayed arriving by traffic!

I'm not sure if I can help? I'll be down by the Box Office tomorrow, would the club allow me to buy you a ticket if you want to send your details as a message? I'm staying over in Wolverhamption Friday night so will be around anytime Saturday morning so we could meet up?

A bit of a bummer really. Plans have now changed so I can go this game but tried to buy a ticket online after Saturdays game whilst travelling home and saw they were no longer on sale. Living in Bristol getting to the ground to purchase is a non starter. If someone would be willing to pick up two tickets for me and my Dad and hand over before the game on Saturday that would be amazing.

Surprised my kids didn't want to go to this one but they said having been there twice before they'd rather save my money! Oh well, seeing as Dad always pays for away games it will save me £60. Will be strange going on my own to a game away. Last time was Wigan I think.

I can pick the tickets up and meet you outside the away end on Saturday. Send me a pm and we can out sort the details.

Have received my ticket, but now I'm confused. Had a email from the club asking to let them know the block row and seat number so it can be noted on their system. Is this something new with away tickets as the last one I purchased was Bolton away (the one that didn't happen).

I suspect it is because they forgot to record it before sending it out and they need to be able to identify all attendees. Probably a premier league requirement. The 'experts' here will know. I have not had similar emails for any of the away tikcets I've purchased.

Is the coach travel off sale now? Train engineering works still a problem!! Don't fancy driving it and it either means going to Paddington then to Euston then to Wolves or drive to Watford Junction to Wolverhampton

Yes, it looks like they have closed it off on the website. You could try emailing Linda Gilham lindajgilham@icloud.com and ask if you could be included. She is usually very helpful.

My ticket issue has been resolved. The club called today, apologised and sold me the ticket as originally requested. Fair play to the club, that is the Brentford I know and love, listened to my feedback and acted on it.

Thanks to the fellow GPGs who offered to step in to help as well, your offers were truly appreciated.

Sorry if asked already but now attending this game after much deliberation... Will the ticket office be open tomorrow for me to book a ticket over the phone? I know I've got to collect at the box office after, but keen to secure a ticket before booking the train ticket and want to do that asap to save pennies ..

I think we’ve got several hundred left so you should be ok just turning up on Thursday/Friday given that the ticket office is shut Wednesdays.

Thanks. Thought that was the case but wasn't sure if they would have a phone line open. I'll have to wait until Thursday and hope the train tickets are still available at a reasonable price, too risk averse to buy before!

Thursday is your best bet, by Friday they will need to do the return to Wolves.

Just checking, is the box office closed if I turn up in person today, or is it just the phone line that is closed? Or have I got it the wrong way around?

Damn, I completely forgot! Good thing I didn't start making my way there. I'll have to pop down tomorrow morning instead then! Thanks

My original tickets are still yet to arrive as well. They said to wait until Wednesday...at least I will know before I head down!
