Anyone know why some are (literally) referred to as the Women team and others aren't? 🤔

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that it’s because the word ‘Ladies’ was deemed as offensive or something or other by the woke mob. It also allows latitude to play men pretending to be women, like Iran did last week.

Belgium Women, beat Armenia Women 19-0 a great win, but very slack when they were 10-0 up after just 34 minutes

Norn Iron must be gutted that their 11-0 victory over North Macedonia Wimmin won’t even be mentioned ‘cos of Belgium’s score.

So sad.

And Spain score 12 v The Pharaoh Islands. Apparently you need children to qualify playing for the Islanders.
No kids no play.
Spain have played them twice and recorded 22 goals to zip.

piss poor football - that is all
Agree, at that level of course they won’t be as physically strong or quick as male internationals but sadly they’re less technically gifted than most players in the lower pyramids of football.
I’m amazed that the keepers are as bad as they are, representing the top professional clubs in the country when again it’s fair to say most wouldn’t get a game in the combined counties.

The Pharaoh Islands ,I presume are in the Nile Delta. Your correct , you do need to be mummies to play.

NI also missed a penalty, hit the woodwork 3(?) times and saw the oppo gk apparently make some very good saves.

So they'll just have to score 20 in the return in Belfast next week then!

After recent World Cup qualifying results, I wonder whether it mightn't be a good idea to reduce the size of the goals for womens' football, say to 7 feet x 7 yards?

Bear with me!

We don't expect kids to play on full size pitches whereit can be avoided.

And in the adult game, virtually every male gk is well over 6' tall these days, yet women over 6' are still very rare, including in goal, so it must be harder for them to cover the entire area between the sticks.

Plus the smaller target for attacking teams should make it that little bit harder for them to rattle in double figure scores, like we've seen tonight.

No?

Well it was only a thought...
