Has Canos controlled a ball yet. I don't mean to be mean but...

Great ball from Toney and another good save made from Bryan's attempt.

Is Henrik instructed to give the ball away whenever he receives it?
I get pace and fitness going as you get older, but the ability to pass to a team mate?

Great chance, BM not playing well but could easily still have 2 goals today .

Dasilva the only one willing to run with the ball and take players on as usual.

Canos hiding. Ghoddos not in it. Bryan wasteful. God we miss Benrahma.

Wycombe were the 7th best team in L1 last season let’s not forget.

Another drab, slow half where we’ve created all but nothing.

Canos awful, ghoddos, Jensen non existent. Mbuemo involved but massively lacking quality.

Da silva only attacking threat, Henry playing well too

Not really happening going forward. We need to get Jensen, DaSilva and Ghoddos on the ball more. The front four just don't seem to work together, Toney's coming far too deep and no-one is getting close enough to him to pick up his knock ons. We've still had a couple of v good chances. Need to up the tempo a bit. Henry's had a fair bit of joy down the left and I think that's probably our best route or a quick break like the Toney/Mbeumo one. Was hoping we'd look more fluid going forward after the international break but there's no sign of it yet and we seem like all we want to do is go long down the channels.. Need to get back to our quick pass and move play, we'd cut through them easily..

We are too slow in possession so far. Wycombe want to stay in a bitty game and force a mistake from us from a set piece to take the points. We have to up the pace. Our players are better at pace. Difficult to beat your opponent from a standing start. Hoping for a bit more urgency second half.

Very frustrating again.

We have had 3 great chances but considering the gulf in quality of our players we really are not looking great.

The players that have been poor or below par all season sadly are the same culprits today. HD so shoddy with his passing, BM definitely inching his way back but still not firing on all cylinders and canos a mere passenger again and when he does get a touch it’s awful. SG is not quite on the wavelength of the other players yet.

I put money on us at 11-8 to get top 6, I am now wondering if this is sod’s law and my fault.

To be fair, their backstop has made a couple of very good saves.

Toney’s heat map for the first half must be all across the pitch, doesnt that leave a spot for Marcus in the middle, I think Canos needs a rest after that 45

Our biggest threat is from wide balls, therefore makes 100% sense to have 2 in there up front.

Bryan and Josh playing them on their own really and despite that should really be well ahead.

Mbuemo involved but massively lacking quality.
He’a lacked quality since the first lockdown ended, it’s a worry. I think the speed at which we counter attacked last year made gave him the time on the ball and space he needed. He doesn’t have the same space to play in this season....he needs to adapt his game. Must remember that he is so young, ideally we could take him out of the firing line but all of our wide men are poor at present...

Apart from mbuemo hitting the post we’ve created nothing? Unless I’m losing my memory..,

For all Canos has contributed, virtually zero. We would be better
off with Forss with DaSilva and Henry providing the overlaps on the left. We’re making a very poor side look decent.

I don't think that's fair. He's looked the most likely to score so far, has got himself in great positions and really unlucky with that first chance. He just looks a bit low on confidence but he's doing most of the right things. It'll come.

I can’t understand what position Sergi is supposed to be playing, Dasilva seems to have taken over wide attack.

I fear for this game, I can see them scoring . Reminds me of Arsenal under Wenger tons of possession but concede a soft goal. Hope I am wrong

I think beesfan is right, Bryan is being carried by his reputation and form last year.

of course his assists speak for themselves , but he’s been a massive weak link all season and is the reason for a lot of our attacks breaking down

Thought that was going to happen when Pontus let the ball bounce in his area under pressure at the end but he managed to hook it away.. So far Raya has swept up well but we do need to be wary of the long ball forward

Agreed he has looked closest to scoring, it’s his quality at times that I worry about. His lack of control and giving it away far too easy. Like you say it’ll come with confidence...

Sorry don't agree at all. All our best play today has been through him, Toney and DaSilva..

He’s been our best attacker so far, despite all that.

Score first and the game is over. WW don't offer much but it only takes one error or loss of concentration from us to lose this. Only JDS looks like creating anything or perhaps Rico. A bit worrying at the moment.

I think this is massively unfair: the shot that hit the post was an excellent effort and another good effort drew a decent save. One of our better players so far today. Ghoddos still needs to do more.

Am I overthinking or has his loss of form been since he had COVID?

Mbeumo is looking fairly good to me. Sergi needs off. Ghoddos seems able to make up for mistakes. Why not Fosu though? This looks right up his street.
