Just can't see that happening. We come back from the International break firing on all cylinders. Forss starts up front with Toney and both get a brace. Sergi and Saman find their mojo, chipping in with a few assists and another solid defensive performance from the usual suspects. They can't live with us. 4-0. Top 2 is back on the cards.
Really? Where did you get that impression from?not sure how toney and forss can play together, and there doesn't seem to be any willingness to play any other system. Could Toney play as the wide man - not sure Frank has full faith in his defensive abilities yet - canos and bryan cover more ground and help the midfield three.
Already seen a few tweets along the lines of 'if we don't win by 6 or 7 Frank should be sacked..' ludicrous..Looking at the stats objectively, we have a greater sense of entitlement than today’s opponents and should be beating teams like Wycombe
(I reserve the right to add ‘FFS’ - pending result )
and that would be very boring without a life full of BrentfordIn this weird season this is a must win. Do I really care? still yes but with football either doing itself to death with 2 games a week or disappearing altogether I'm beginning to think I'd be quite happy to just reset next August and ignore this season altogether.
I had a dream on Thursday night about the game. I was watching scores on the teleprinter (people of a certain vintage will understand) and at about 60 minutes, it came up that we were 3-0 up. Unfortunately, I can’t remember anything else after that.2-1. F and T. Akinfenwa will score from a header despite 4 of our defenders climbing on him. Like he did in the friendly last season.
