From the scouting site above..
Style of play:

– roaming playmaker

– player with good body mass ratio, physical strength, power, stamina and natural fitness who feels comfortable in contact situations

– versatile player who is naturally adept in several positions, and is capable of aiding his team defensively as well as offensively

– known for his vision, dribbling skills and mobility

– likes to play short passes

– excellent with the ball at his feet and can move past opponents with extreme ease

– very good in combination play

– fantastic progressive passer and progressive ball carrier

– player that always tries to find a vertical option in his game, so he is very capable of pushing his team forward to finishing positions

– knows how to dictate tempo, he’s creative and has the natural ability of an ‘orchestrator’ midfielder who can perform at all the midfield positions

– often drops deeper to pick up the ball, participate in the build-up of plays, and create chances for his teammates, courtesy of his good vision and passing ability

He sounds like a clone of a child spawned by Beckenbauer and Maradona.

I am puzzled by these reports of Ukrainian signings as no men aged between the ages of 18 and 60 are allowed out of the country whilst the war is raging?
They gave the national squad some kind of special dispensation to continue training and playing abroad. Could be that elite sports people are given similar arrangements?

Our Ukrainian sources* say this could be a B Teamer. Would that make sense?

*genuine BTW, not a Beesotted "Ukrainian Source"

How does a Ukrainian teenager with no international caps or European experience get a work permit to play for our B team?

Having just broken into first team in Ukraine? Maybe a MPH type signing? First team fringe?

Could be the first full International Player that the B Team have ever signed then. Perhaps they don't think footballers can drive tanks, or fire rifles, but it is OK for UK citizens to fight in the Ukrainian Army. I remain very puzzled. All men between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving for a reason!

He's not a full international. 4 appearances for the U21s.

to be honest, at this early stage, I'm happy with any incomings just to get the ball rolling. Imagine the 'big' signings will take most of the summer to carve out

I think what is promising is that this is the sort of player I'd hoped we were looking at, with the links to Mudryk that bodes well for this window..

Taken from the Guardian's " Next Generation 2021: 60 of the best young talents in world football"

Yarmolyuk is often compared to his compatriot, the West Ham player Andriy Yarmolenko, and not only because of the similarity of their names. The 17-year-old is as strong and powerful as the Ukrainian international with the ball and can also play on the wing. There’s much more on offer from the young prospect, though. He is a hardworking, tireless midfieler who can be trusted on the ball with his great vision and outstanding footballing brain as well as out of possession. Yarmolyuk’s best position seems to be centrally as a box-to-box midfielder, as he can demonstrate most of his skills there, one of them being his ability in one-on-one situations, his desire to dribble at high speed and his ability to make key passes. Yarmolyuk made his debut for the Ukraine under-21 team when he was only 16 years and 146 days old, becoming the second youngest to do so after the former Barcelona defender Dmytro Chygrynskiy. He is the youngest outfield player in Ukraine’s top division to start a match, which he did six days before his debut for the under-21s. Artur Petrosyan

Unless she spoke with one of the three men, if she didn’t recognise either of the two how did she know it was a player and their agent as opposed to any other combination of potential people meeting with PG
Maybe it was a father and son combo making a pitch for their tasty falafel stall to be set up in th West Stand...

I expect Phil Giles has set up one or two B Team signings before leaving for his month long family holiday in Paxos. Forward planning.

Will probably be like Myles and switch between both throughout the season
I guess I could see that as a role for him.

Just the €5m bandied about on twitter (obviously could all be rubbish) is a lot more than the amount we are supposed to have paid for Myles at €1.6m
