Been impressed with Ajer and Onyeka so far, hopefully Wissa follows them! 😁

With 9 subs I feel he has to be one of them. Not knowing our system is less important as a striker and he watched the Valencia game. His instinct is what is important, let Arsenal worry about him

Depends if he has international clearance!

Agree if he’s fit. But he might not be due to the combination of the alleged attack last month and not having done all of the preseason with Lorient, even just the time spent in quarantine.

Surprising (but also not surprising) we've been following his progress for quite a while, as far back as when Bryan and Said were still playing in France.
Good to have another player with some versatility.

I AM a location
Mrs wibs - who has zero interest in football - just got home

"Good day babe, anything interesting happen today" she said
"Yeah it was ok. Actually something pretty big happened"
"Oh cool what was that"
"I cant actually remember at the moment, but I know it was good rather than bad"
"Come on try and remember and I'll make us a cup of tea"
Me thinking for about 45 seconds with her in the kitchen waiting patiently for the good news
"OH YEAH!!! I REMEMBERED"
Mrs wibs speed walks back into the lounge expectantly, "Go on what was it"?!
"Wissa finally signed for Bees"
"WHAT??? I dont even know what the hell that means but you can make your own frigging tea you idiot"!!

We're playing Arsenal. Everyone needs to be bang on and know the system inside out. He may well be on the bench but I'd be surprised if he got more than a few minutes at the end of the game unless we're desperately chasing it..

Elementary mistake: You wait until you have the tea in your* hand before "remembering".

* - Your hand, not hers, if you don't want to wear it instead of drinking it.

Anyhow, came on here to post that a 4 year contract, with option, is pretty good in the present economic climate. Must give BFC a big advantage over other clubs competing for the signature.

Or 5 nil up to get him fit. Although might be an idea to give Gunnarson a go to help him get to the ten game threshold for a winners medal

She sounds like many posters on here, but more honest.

I could see him making a cameo if we’re 3-0 up

Anyway we could bring back the "owusuuuu" celebration with this chap. Raise the roof at LR. Someone have a word with him.
Eh? He's already got his own celebration from what I can see in his goals highlights. Bit cheesy to copy an ex player IMO 🤷🏻‍♂️

Clearly I have a vested interest in reincarnating Raise The Roof celebrations, but I can also see that we must look forward now not back. There will only ever be one Lloyd Owusu (what lovely goals he scored), and hopefully there will only ever be one Youne Wissa. He looks like a wonderfully potent new addition to our strike force.…

Congo has produced some of the hottest recorded music from Africa over the last six decades. Let's hope Yoane gets us all rocking. Ooo-er Missus.

Anyone know how good his English is? More intrigued than normal to hear his story in his first interview

Is this the least amount of posts on a new signing !
Possibly, but there’s not much to say after the long pre-signing rumour thread. Yet!

Don't expect much about the acid attack if there is legal case pending
I don’t think there’s the same sub judice sensitivity about French trials as there is here because the decisions are made by a prosecuting judge rather than a jury.
