Agogo goes to Egypt

Agogo goes to Egypt

I'm sure he'd get a chance to play in the premiership in the future, perhaps with a promoted team.

 he scored 13 goals last season and you think he will play in the Premiership:eek:

Agogo goes to Egypt

Real name, Einstein. FACT.

I seriously doubt it. He's 28 and a decent League One forward, nothing else.

:imwith:

On what basis does a jobbing 28-year-old striker who has never played outside the bottom two divisions go on to play in the Premiership

Agogo goes to Egypt

I've seen him play along side premiership players several times and not looking look out of place, there were ever rumours of Man Utd were snuffing around (which I admit is way ott) in january.

He's as good as some of the brink premierhsip players, Robert Earnshaw, DJ Campbell etc. imo

Yes but they were started by Tomisabee.

He's not good. An average league one player who asset is pace.

Wasn't he injured for a long spell last season? or was that Tyson?

Agogo goes to Egypt

it's thread like this which are the cause of my complete disregard for any footballing opinion you have, Mr Westlad. sort it out

Agogo goes to Egypt

I'm not saying he'd be a top premiership striker, my point is merely that if you look at some of the players and teams in the premiership these days, he must be worth a try at some point.

I've seen him play a few times this year (albeit not much in the league) and it's hard to say he's that much worse than fringe strikers at the likes of Derby (last season), Stoke, Hull etc.

Agogo goes to Egypt

sure he'll climb the league pyramid out there... :sneakoff:

That may be correct but that has nothing to do with Premiership quality though. Man Utd sniffing around him indeed!

Jo Kuffour scored 1 less than goal than Agogo last season when we went down:rolleyes:  I hear Real Madrid are after himlol lol

Different types of player: Kuffour was out and out goalscorer whilst Agogo can also play as a supporting striker because of his physical presence. Also he played in the Cup of African Nations so missed part of the season and still finished as top scorer for Forest.

If you accept my premise that he's as good as a striker who's played in the premiership, then why is it not reasonable to suggest he would have a chance of playing in the premiership?

13 days for the whole of Cup of African Nations, he missed 4 games so how the **** is that part of the season?????????????

It was 3 weeks and he scored 3 goals against decent opposition, so had he played in England he might have scored even more goals than kuffour did for us that season.
