Staying in - Going out

Take it easy old boy !!
Disregard my post.....not going out now, so its a few Hawkstone Ciders (Jezza Clarkson) fek the dinner, getting a takeaway, while Mrs Lush steams (literally) down the garden!!!
Barricade myself in the front room and watch the match........roll on Watford and new season especially Blackpool!!!!

Staying in - Going out

Got a cold some git gave me last week.
Woke up with a stiff neck making it painful to look left.
Dragging myself to the pub dosed up on lemsip.
Don't know if they've ticketed it but if they don't let me in I'm not drinking there again and they'll probably go bust as a result ;)

Staying in - Going out

On holiday in France. They’ve set up a small amphitheater with a big screen outside.
Should be good, but I’m worried that I’ve broken routine!

Staying in - Going out

Watching in Walpole Park on the big screen - real of day of marking the hours til 8 - why can’t kick off be earlier!

Staying in - Going out

Heading down to a bar in Southampton…. It’s off the beaten track and more of a music bar than anything else, so will hopefully be dickhead free and no one will be chucking white plastic chairs around at 11pm.
First time I’ve been out for a game during this tournament - hopefully I can get a bit more excited about the game once I’ve had a few Neck Oils.

In Majorca for this , Police presence started to build last night even the Guardia Civil in attendance. Will watch in hotel as all inclusive .

So had to ask the Jock with his Scotland top on , why ? He said to prove a point , Ok I said but whatever happens today you’re still sh*t , He did laugh to be fair ??
Careful where you stand. Daughter and friends watched quarter final in fan park in Albefuiera. As the last pen went in, some psychomoron lobbed a metal ice bucket from a balcony and they had to spend the rest of the evening in A & E as the hospital repaired her friend’s head.

What?!! Just as well you posted this on here cos I would be lodging a strong objection if this were to be entered on the barbecue thread. Dear lord!
There not BBD’ed, even a thick o like me knows that’s the wrong thread. :ROFLMAO:

There very simple, add chilli oil ( to taste ) to the water and boil as normal. I use chilli oil when frying, scrambling me eggs as well. I hope this news does not disturb your day to much, we all have a big evening to deal with.

Staying in - Going out

Booked seats in a bar in Lindos, was supposed to take it easy last night as we were up at 7 to visit the big castle thing, but I made the mistake of putting too much gin in my pre drink and it set me off on a bit of a session,

Been feeling rough all day, really don’t feel like drinking so was going to nurse one beer and watch the game sober and take it in, however the anxiety is building up now, doesn’t start until 10pm here so it’s a lot of time to kill.

Think I may do another extra large G and T and just drink my way through the next 8 hours.

Staying in - Going out

All the family know I like to watch football alone, but I think my two teenage daughters may join me, it's an awkward one as it's the Mrs birthday.....no it ain't, football every time.

I was always the same, watch on my own with my mates, can’t stand it with the wife as she doesn’t get it and says stupid stuff.

My daughter is into it now and the wife just has a drink and keeps quiet whilst I shout and rant.

She has bumped into her mates brother and invited them to join us tonight, I have only met him once and he doesn’t like football, FFS, you don’t need it do you. He will be trying to talk to me whilst I am acting like a football fan.

Where’s that Gin gone, I am getting on it now.

Solid plan. I’m not on my second bottle of mojitos, I swear! ?

My wife knows nothing about football, tbh it was 30 minutes in when we were at the cinema and she said, ah, so he's James Bond!

One of the worst nights of my life was when a workmate who wasn't bothered about football somehow managed to invite himself round to our house to watch the Semi Final of Italia '90!!!
You can imagine the state I was in after the game, and it took my wife to say to him after he'd been making inane comments for about 10 minutes, that it was probably time for him to go home!!!
Have never fotgotten that night!!
Don't do it!!!

Come out (Sherborne, my town) for couple of Guinness very quiet in all the pubs right now. No one getting on it early here ? these poshos don't know how to have a proper football session.

But I will be back to watch the game a home.

Planning on going to a local pub where they have outside screens. Have no idea if we'll get in but, if not, there's a Tesco over the road to get some #cans and we'll watch it from the car park...

Staying in - Going out

Staying in Escalante: a little village in Cantabria. Large screen just going up in the main(ish) square. With 14 family members so we will hopefully have some good banter with the locals and then finish the evening giving them an ‘I told you so’ look when Ivan knocks in the winner after Konsa’s through ball is expertly controlled by Ollie and laid into his path

Staying in - Going out

Anyone over the age of 30 who goes to a local pub for this needs their head examined. And their pockets and keys searched on entry. ?

Staying at home.

Pubs for big football matches are awful places. Young idiots. Takes so long to get a pint you’re half sober by the time it comes. Toilets a mess. Crowded.

Not for me anymore. ??

Staying in - Going out

Staying in with some friends round later. A Chelsea mate is over in Berlin saying every beer keller / bar is choc rull of England fans watched by Spanish fans walking past on guided sight-seeing tours ?

Blimey mate, the town only has about 900 inhabitants, with your 14 you will take over ?

A miserable sod after my own heart.
Couldn’t agree more.

Just got off my twelve hour watch, on the boat off Virginia.
Will try to catch a nap before I switch on the TV for the match.
As Captain I have the small luxury of a TV in my cabin, so won't have to listen to any moaning about it heing on in the galley/lounge area......
COME ON ENGLAND !

Mirando el partido en casa me pongo nervioso ahora!

In position, found a nice place off the beaten track, reservation for a great spot in front of a big TV. It's a bit bloody pricey at £2 a pint but needs must - quite a few of the places i know around here weren't showing it. Taking it easy with a nice dark Kozel for starters, glorious day here in Prague and the ladies have got their summer gear on  will get on the lager soon enough! Just donated a cigarette to a passing chancing tramp in an effort to show the world good karma and aid England's cause!

The party is gonna be SO GOOD if they get it done... it's worth the risk. Get involved!

This post feels like it’s missing the word “Clive” at the very end. ?

Had a nice relaxing afternoon in Marlow to kill the time. A couple of pints of Rebellion IPA. Home now to watch the game. If we win will try to go and crash into the local for some celebration pints!
