Hakon
Kayode VDB Collins KLP
Hendo Yarmo
Outarra Damsgaard Donovan
Furo

wouldn’t mind thiago but have a feeling Furo will play, as he hasn’t come off the bench this season in the league.
Schade has just had 3 games off, why rest him?

FA Cup R5 West Ham (a) Mon 9th March 19:30

Play him as a winger then, instead of a pointless attacking midfielder.
4-3-3 , let them try to low block that.
schade unfortunately doesn’t drive at his man, with his pace unless there’s space in behind. were better off with a direct winger who can dribble past 2 defenders and put a cross in. just an opinion though.

FA Cup R5 West Ham (a) Mon 9th March 19:30

I'm not sure that Henderson is better than Yarmoliuk as a deep-lying midfielder protecting the back line.
But yarmo is a decent 8 box to box not a holding player like a 6.
Him and Jensen like to get forward all the time need a player who is happy to sit and screen the back 4 and Jordan is the best choice when janelt is unavailable.

Schade has put in a few decent crosses recently. At least one resulting in a goal.

I dont think Hendo is any more of a Norgaard type player than Yarmoliuk is.

I think we tried Jordan as a 6 early in the season and have realised he can't really do it anymore. Yarmo is best suited to screening the back 4 imo as he did very well at the end of last season with Norgaard playing slightly ahead of him. I would play him and Henderson together until Janelt is back.

Kelleher
Kayode Collins Ajer KLP
Hendo Yarmo
Ouattara Damsgaard Schade
Thiago

Let's go for it.

I don't see West Ham rotating too much to be honest. They're on a reasonably good streak and I personally can't see Nuno making too many changes in all honesty. Hope I'm wrong 🙏🏽🤞🏼

Their fans have pretty much said the same.
But more based on the fact that they really dont have many options that they can rotate in.....

Been 6 days since our last game and 7 till the next, the only reason to not go full strength would be for anyone carrying a knock and not fully fit really.

FA Cup R5 West Ham (a) Mon 9th March 19:30

Results have been kind today so I'll be very annoyed if we field anything other than a virtual full strength team - Thiago must start
Read something on the West Ham forum along the lines of "It's a shame Nuno will have to name the side before the QF draw. City/Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea away might have resulted in a different selection compared with v Port Vale/Southampton/Norwich at home."

Wonder if it would have affected KA's thoughts at all??

Not a prayer and nor should it - to win it you'll have to play a big 6 club along the way almost certainly anyway

Hmmm....not sure.
Remember how "pragmatic" he was in his team selection for Arsenal away in the league earlier this season??

I'm not sure a selection for West Ham with say a potential resulting tie at Arsenal away again (or City away), would be exactly the same as for a resulting tie v Port Vale at home.....

Particularly bearing in mind the chance we still have for European qualification via the PL route....

We'll never know. 🙂

Has anyone driven and parked to Westfield Stratford on game day? Is it feasible or not worth the hassle?

Planning to come straight from work by car if it’s possible

If you're picking on form, I don't see how Henderson starts ahead of Jensen.

Oh wonderful, airport security and one active turnstile again. Best set off tonight and pitch a tent...

Sorry, but this is utter nonsense. If the average person took three seconds to go through a turnstile (highly optimistic), it would take about four and a half hours to get all 5,500 of us through one turnstile. The London Stadium has 90 turnstiles across 10 ‘gates’. By rights, there should be nine turnstiles operating for away supporters tomorrow night. Yes, there may be fewer than that, but to suggest there will be one turnstile for all of us is ridiculous.

I am calm about tomorrow either way and want a good, clean game from both sides. Port Vale winning today shows just how crazy this competition can be as always! Will see what happens.

Think they meant one entrance, which means more than one turnstile. Six?

Dies anyone have a ticket for tomorrow (West H) they can't make? I'd be very happy to buy it if so.

Bonjour, you can buy tickets in the home end sans problem.

They pulled this in 23/24, took nearly an hour to get in from first security check to seat

Wow. QPR must have queued for weeks!
I wonder if they only had one turnstile or if they had more, will it be something else for Kevin Gallen to try and inflate his and qpr’s ever faltering ego with?

Yes, I nearly missed kick off for that game so am going a little bit earlier for this one.

After todays result this game just got a whole lot bigger in my opinion. We have a real opportunity here to potentially push onto the final. Lets do this 🐝🍻

FA Cup R5 West Ham (a) Mon 9th March 19:30

That makes it about 800 people per turnstile
It’s going to be busy
By the time you’ve got through two (or three) security checks and crowd walking at different speed from stations it shouldn’t be too bad at the turnstile if you arrive 30mins before - leagues always been ok but I suppose the extra 2k may slow it a bit - the way out will be fun though! Especially with the extra away allocation walking back to Stratford- might try pudding lane but never gone that way before

Surely that depends on the QF draw?
Something like this wouldn't really change much in terms of potentially getting to the Final:
Liverpool v Port Vale
Chelsea v Southampton
Man City v Bees (West Ham)
Arsenal v Leeds

If Liverpool Man City Chelsea and Liverpool all avoid each other in the draw then I’m sure questions will be asked!

What about if they all play each other ? Or any other combination?

Can anyone recommend a decent pub close to the ground where they allow away fans? I know there are loads, but I'll have a couple of hours to kill waiting for my mates so wondered if anyone has a go to boozer that's worth checking out?

There are no pubs close to the ground except The Cow in Westfield's restaurant stretch. If you want a proper pub then Hackney Wick it is.
