Exactly I agree with (MADDOGGING) . I cant understand just before Lloyd got injured they was intrest from Crystal Palace for him . He can score the goal for us and has done this time and time again .

Well he can run around a bit, head a ball in generally the right direction, give defenders a bit of a run around, lay off a few passes to fellow players and occasionally score a goal.....in other words everything that Winegum and Bambi seem unable to do.

Yes we need him back even if he's half as effective as before..

Every centre half especially away from home knew that Lloyd was about last season. Unlike the limp wonkers we have prancing about pretending to be interested LO for all his lack of natural ability lets you, me and the opposition that he is playing. Sadly this hasn't been very common this season.

It helps to love the shirt, it's not all you need but it is a fecking good start.
I can forgive any player who gives 100% but the ability is lacking, he has tried his best and you can't ask for any more. It is the "Brookers" of this world who hide but can play who do me in.

Can't wait for his return, it will be nice to see a someone give 100% commitment from a player who genuienly loves the club. He may have his faults but you can't buy his passion, and last season YES he did lose some pace but he gave everything for the team chased lost causes and ran and ran for the team, this will prove valuable to the team when he comes back and will always chip in with a goal. I look forward the most to seeing a pairing of him and Jo. He improved alot last season in the air and I think these two would form a good little and large partnership, the partnership that seemed to be going so well untill DJ departed. Lloyd may not be the same player he used to be but he will certainly make an impact on our struggling side.

One week he could not win a header and then we got on his case a bit and he got very peed off as it was a tactic he was complying with, the next week in the cup game he won everything and we started to see the best of DJ so I am hoping the same can happen with Jo Kuffour when Lloyd comes back and my bet is Boxing Day vs Millwall.

Maybe not so much on the pitch, but he will affect the other players performance, in a good way.

Owusu is not a young man, or a stupid one. We've all heard him on the pitch, he is loud, he is a talker, always talking to the players.
That, combined with his experience of Brentford, this division, our crowd, and his encouragement should hopefully result in better performances from the team. A manager can do so much, but he needs 1 or 2 out on the pitch who personify what the manager wants and needs. At the moment sod ability, we need encouragement, experience and a bit of fight.

I think it will give Brentford another attacking option, takes a little pressure off Kuffour, and hopefully his return would see Clyde go. However he ain't going to come straight back in and make an instant impact. He has been out for so long, he's going to find it hard to re-adjust to the pace of a match. It's not like you have a reserve team where he can some match practice (unless you drop in friendly).

But it will excellent to see Lloyd back, you don't wish any injury on a fellow footballer.

Reading some of the comments its ashame that alot of people dont have the faith in the Lloyd .

Lloyd was a transfer target for Crystal Palace earlier in the year.

Having been to the training ground on a regualr basis I firmly belive his presence and passion for the club is what we need.

This guy is one of our top GOAL scores if not the TOP !!!!

They say one man cant make the team BUT THEY CAN CHANGE IT !!!!!!!
