Indeed. Excellent news and no doubt rewarded for a really good season. In fact it's pretty much proof that big clubs have been making enquiries.

Certainly means that he will not be bought on the cheap. All it means though is that when a huge club want to sign him, they will have to pay an extra £10-15m, compared to signing him this summer.

Creating this sort of culture in any business, is really, really difficult and some times impossible. I don't know how BFC do it but they clearly do. To have a "newcomer" feel involved and accepted by everyone at the Club (from day 1) is I'd guess unique. It points to a total absence of cliques among tge players and staff. Truly impressive.

To have several newcomers arriving from all parts of the world and making it seem easy for all involved is a great feat of tolerance and humanity; classic BFC attributes.

We often get a bit blasé about the ‘Togetherness’ culture the club constantly espouses, but this is the reward for everyone’s contribution towards this attitude.

It’s so pleasing to hear players/employees mention that they consider the ‘off field’ part of life at the club as a serious reason for them being here.
