I thought he was tremendous today.
He was great. I back Kev all day for his work rate. But since he seems to have developed a reputation for falling over; I’d prefer he seek to play through all contact and never turn to ref. Not as bad as when KLP does it on defense though

Kevin Schade

I think his first thought every time he gets the ball is to fall over.
Utter sh*t. Excellent today, carried the ball well, worked exceptionally hard and gave the Forest back line a really tough time. He slipped once after a great turn and was then scythed down twice in full flight.

I love Kev.
I think he needs to realise that he is better without the ball at his feet trying to dribble out of trouble.
A couple of times he lost it on the edge of our box trying to dribble out of defence, yet when he has open ground infront of him, he is one of the best in the league - showed by two of theirs booked for hacking him down when they had 0 chance of catching him.
He would be better served winning the ball in defence, getting it to Jensen, then getting on his bike for the ball over the top

I think the issue is that his pace is instant from take off and his first stride is long.
It’s very easy for him to be caught on that first stride and with that momentum any touch will unbalance him.
Exactly – when you're running at pace it only needs a slight touch or unexpected change of direction and you're over. Moaning about him staying on his feet doesn't change that.

Kevin Schade

As some one else said , when bringing the ball out of defence put the ball into space in front of him and beat every one to the ball . He tried to dribble past 3 players yesterday and lost the ball

Kevin Schade

There's no way for me to prove this but it feels as though more than half of his dribbles result in him falling over, for one reason or the other.

There are plenty of world class players with similar pace that somehow manage to stay on their feet.

I'm happy with Kev as he is but if he ever wants to take himself to the next level then in my opinion he needs to work on it.

When KA says he wants us to create chaos, does he have Schade in mind to be that person? He outruns a player, who brings him down and gets booked after which they are scared to touch him.
I assumed he was talking about the opponents penalty area where he wanted to confuse defenders with feints, blocks, diversionary movements etc. Against the elite sides he might also be seeking to disrupt possession and create opportunities to overturn the ball.

I don't suppose he wants chaos in our own defence or when we are in clear possession.

Kev would have run clear if not cynically fouled twice Saturday (too far from goal for a red card but both yellows) and bought down in a good position inches outside the penalty area. Forest could easily have conceded a goal or red card from those incidents.

Kevin Schade

Has anyone seen any clip of the first half incident when he spun Murillo (I think) and went down? Looked like a foul live and in the heat of the moment but there didn't seem too much complaint on the pitch.

Kevin Schade

Why would anyone go down when they are going past the oppo's last man. I can't see anyone doing that and thinking a free kick outside the box is a better opportunity than getting a shot away.

None were a clear and obvious scoring opportunity but we will never know as they didn't let him past.

The one in the second half 2 Forest players actually congratulated each other , w***ers

He could perhaps have passed to our slippery eel immediately to set him free, but then perhaps he couldn't see what we could see from our elevated position in the stands
