Invest it in WILSON,wonder what bristols asking price would be ?
1. We don't have the cash to spend
2. Wilson is a Bristol lad and wants to play for his local team.
3. There is no way Bristol would let a player of his age and ability go for anything like that money, if they did I think it would be a better investment than paying 75k off the debt because he is a class act and I am sure he will go for big money some day, but in our situation its a non starter i'm afraid.

Indeed. More likely be able to make Bennett an offer to stay after January with this amount than buy a promising young centre half. It's immaterial if we've already earmarked the money, when was the last time we got an unexpected cash bonus? We haven't exactly had sellable assets for a while
