one is a trinidad and tobagan,ex west ham midfielder(anyone know details-what foot on the wing or in the centre?)

other is a striker.

Attacking mid-fielder who is a Trinidad and Tobago International - but released by Northampton after 6 matches last season (on loan).

Striker is David Geddes who apparently trialed two years ago.

No more info known about either.

brent seems a very good prospect.hopefully he is right footed and can play on the wing and centre.

Rahim

Played 6 times for Northampton last season, never in a winning side, scored 1 (against QPR (I like him already)) and got booked once.

"He's a good, skilful young Trinadadian brought in by Fenwick last season. Needed a couple of games to find his rythmn but once he did he impressed.Shame he didn't come back to us"

Comment form a Cobblers fan on Rivals when I asked about him.

I hope he's an improvement on the last David Geddis we had.:eek: :eek: :eek:

If I remember correctly we were keen on him this lad to sign but he wanted to complete his studies first.
He's definately worth at look at during the pre season games.
If the other lad shows well also then hopefully we have a replacement for Rowly.

Good to see we're looking at players and the comments about these two indicate they could be good for us.

A creative midfielder and a striker, perfect.

Brent sounds like he could be a good prospect, the other lad is a striker so he is already in the first team !!!

Not so sure about Geddis! But we'll see hey!

Still think we need to be looking at a handful of other players...whether on loan or otherwise!

Just a quick thought here so bare with me....now that this Ruski is in charge at Chelsea it probably means they will be buying more players...thus some of their youth team are going to get less opportunities.....and hence be available on loan :idea: :idea: probably with Chelsea more than likely willing to pay the majority of thier wages perhaps:idea: :idea:

to top this all off such players are unlikely to want to move to far from their established base....so we could probably pick up a player or two out of this!!

Brent sounds like a real possibility. Anyone know anything more about Geddes?

Saw him play at Chertsey, 2 seasons ago. scored 2 one tap in and one well taken goal, nearly had another 2 . Looked hungry for the ball and fast, I dont know how fast he would look against 2nd Div players ( probably very fast against marshall ) But Wally must think enough of him to ask him back now he has finished Uni. Def worth another look playing against better oppositition.

Don't you just love some of the names of these football clubs. I wonder if he was a big hit for Joe Public. Indeed, seems like a good idea for a new thread, most ridiculous name for a football club.

fari enough that geddes and buckley have been told to leave...not really up to it I have heard!

But what about Rahim...sounded promising and hasn't had the chance to play yet! How has Wally judged him!

Also why hasn't McPhee been offloaded!!

So many questions!!
