Superb scenes, I have just worked out that we will be promoted at Sheffield United.

can foresee portsmouth at gp being all ticket in our penultimate home game. looks to be quite a tough final run in from march 16th, with mk and cov away back to back in april and a trip to bramall lane at the end of march. january and february could be where promotion is won or lost, quite easy looking couple of months depending on weather and cup runs.

They don't run the service to Colchester though although I don't thing National Express ran a boxing day service either, but that is mnainly due to getting engineering works out the way before the olympics. National Rail are alos no longer the company running the Liverpool Street line, so will be interesting what the new Dutch owners consider a xmas service.

First home game on a Tuesday night Always better atmosphere starting the home season on a Saturday in nice hot weather. Yeovil won't attract a very big gate and midweek games are usually less well attended, coupled with holiday period.

Dunno, it'd be hard to beat our title season a few years back, when we had Chester, Grimsby, Accrington, Morecambe away all on Tuesday nights. I was convinced the fixtures computer had it in for us this season. Agree about Pompey away on a Tuesday being disappointing though, gets those days off booked now!

Really hard run in but relatively easy if unexciting start, why can't the the nothing games be midweek instead of the potential biggies?

It's a shame the FL didn't print the fixtures with "Club 24", where Portsmouth are listed, instead! :yes: Has the CVA been agreed yet and have Pompey kept their FL share? :shrug:

I see Rangers are just "Club 12" in the SPL fixture lists. :laugh:
