4th Division Calling

Not too many early posts from next season's opposition fans.:fishing:
Come on guys, what can we expect in division 4.

Accrington jolly up?
The Bees Derby?
A Dagger Up The Clitoris?
SwinedonBee Weekender Party?
Any Grass On That Bury Pitch Still?
A Fish Supper On The Docks?
Brizzle Home Ground at Newport?
Boston Strangled?
Hereford Bullshit?
Lincoln Green With Envy?
A Martin Allen Smile?

Lets Ave It Large!

I hardly think so. Surely MK Mongs will leapfrog Brentford.

We'll be one of the bigger teams in the League next year IMO. We'll be Barnet's cup final lol

There's something vaguely implausible about Brentford being regarded as being one of the big boys in the lower division !

One thing for sure though, our debt will certainly be one of the biggest !!

Not so sure....I reckon there will be 8-10 clubs "bigger" than Brentford next season

Let's name those that might be perceived by the football world in general as bigger than the mighty Bees - regardless of debt etc.

Taking into account that the bottom 4 from today's league 2 all drop down - which might or might not happen. Also that Oxford make the jump up via the play offs too, as they currently occupy second spot. Finally that MK make the jump up to league 1, as they currently occupy 4th place.

1. Bradford
2. Oxford

These two for definite plus the following imho could also be seen as greater or similar status, dependant upon your viewpoint.

Peterborough
Notts Co
Bury
Wrexham
Wycombe (at a push)

Outside of that there's little else apart from journeyman league 2 teams - so we should fit in quite nicely :fishing:

How depressing !!!

wycombe oxford and bury have never been 'bigger' then us, whilst the rest of the teams are on a level footing. bradford will def be the big boys next season, i'd say most of the rest of the teams are roughly the same size wise.

I think we can safely say Oxford have been and may well be "bigger" than us next season.

They were top division not too long ago...

They drew over 7,000 to a monday night Sky game....versus Dagenham n Redbridge. (Compare that to our Northampton attendance...)

Keep an eye on the attendances if they don't go up this year

I'm hoping Burton Albion get promoted into League 2 so I can have a local game to go to :sorted:
