I am quite pissed off with the draw, I was looking forward to ManUre away to keep us in business a bit longer. We can't get cocky against Burnley or Grimsby but we have a chance of turning them over at GP. I agree with the voice tho, there can be NO draw!!

Have to say I was impressed by Steve Perryman (he was pulling the away teams); when Phil Neal drew Brentford out of the hat, first thing Steve said was "Come on you Bees!"

What a crap draw. !!!! We did not get 9,000 for Derby so we are unlikely to get a good gate for this.!! THat is what we need. We can win it but I think oit is unlikely. Hope they prove me wrong !!!

At least we'll get a decent cheque plus a 3,000 or so more on our average attendance for a Burnley / Grimsby game. There's money to be made...hopefully we'll get through and then get a real big gun away to polish it all off nicely - unless we of course take the cup itself!

Not unhappy at all, we can beat either of them at home and look forward to 5th round, did you hear Steve Peryman say 'come on Bees', nice touch I thought.

Could've been worse, we could've been drawn away to Burnley or Grimsby.
Nice touch by Steve Perryman, when he clenched his fist in hope for us, what being our previous Manager. Last time I saw him, I was having a set too on the touchline after we'd lost to Torquay, I think it was in the LDV Semi Final and we'd sold Andy Sinton .. Why did we sell him, when we could've got promotion. Anyway's days gone by and onto today.
What I'd like to know is who will be suspended from our team for this game against Burnley ?
Will Evans be out and Vine ?? To be honest I'm not too bothered about Fullarton and will we try and get a striker now to complement what we've allready got ??
We can beat Burnley if we have the same starting 11 as Saturday and of course our wonderful home support who create that twelve man :-)

Crikey another 8800 gate then. Still the money rolls in which means the forecast losses for the season will remain unchanged at £890,000 or £710,000 or £925,000 or £1million or (fill in any number you like).

Can't we save time and be imaginative. Stage this match at Kingsmeadow where we can take full advantage of the corporate facilities there and enjoy all of the benefits of this modern majestic ground not available at crappy old Griffin Park. Come on Noades/Hargraves you know it makes sense and gives us a taste of your vision for the future.

CHRIS KAMARA TAKE NOTE! LOL That's how you acknowledge a former club.

The draw itself is uninspiring, but about as best as we could hope for with regards to a fifth round berth. Out of the two, I would rather see us get Burnley - they have been leaking goals all season. Grimsby are a bogey side, but we're due a win against them.

Jeez what a bunch of whingers - it's money in the bank (Wally reckoned £100,000 so far and then perhaps another £50,000 for this round when interviewed on Sky), a fair chance of a win at home again and then a cash-in tie next round - what's the problem? :rolleyes:

F**k me cheer up, we all wanted Arsenal or Man utd but what are the odds? personally i think its a great chance to get into the 5th round, now that would be an exciting draw.
Nobody yet mentioned a great draw for Shrewsbury, Chelsea at home, that would have been a good one for us.

I am pleased with the draw, I think we can win this and get a good 5th round draw. Do you remember the trip to Liverpool. It was a great day out even though we lost.

We will win and then draw a london team at home.

The more I think about this, the more I reckon that it would be a major cock-up if our boys fail to get the job done. There were few matches left in the hat as winnable as this one!

For those who would like to see a cup run, this is a cracking draw, and potentially more prize money.

I sat @ work listening on the radio @ 1pm and when I heard that Steve Perryman was doing the draw I hoped for a decent tie.

I had feared Rochdale or Shrewsbury away as the potential duff ties. So it's not too bad, as so many have said before me.....

We can win this and get through to the 5th Round and perhaps even emulate 88/89 and get to the 6th! We beat 2 2nd flight teams on the way to the Quarters then and I feel that if we beat Grimsby Town/Burnley we'll have earned another plum tie like we got back then. This time I'd prefer Arsenal or a West London derby with Chelsea though!!!

I've seen Grimsby and Burnley play this season, and they both look about as good as Derby, so both are very beatable. lol
Was really hoping for Chelsea away, or Man Utd or Arsenal but the west London connection would be great. Maybe in the 5th round. Just hope we don't go out to either of these nondescript northern sides.

C'mon u Bees, you can do this lot :thumbs:

We beat 3 2nd flight teams, yes Walsall were in Division 2 then.
They did finish bottom though.
