Our target now will be top six. Is that achievable? Many of our next games are against the teams above us which could be an advantage ie 6 pointers for a top six challenge. The bottom 8 are fighting for survival and may pull off some surprise results eg Everton with only 10 men for much of the game last night. The next three games are pivotal and we've already beaten Man City away and they may have nothing to play for on the last day of the season. It's Brentford innit doesn't apply anymore, so let's have faith and hope for a strong finish to this incredible season.

It would be nice to equal (if not beat) our previous highest finish in the top flight from 1936, when the only teams to finish above us were Sunderland, Huddersfield, Derby and Stoke - none of whom are in the top flight today!

What would you like it to be?
There's quite a few threads already in which the discussion is around where we can / might finish, and also specifically about European qualification etc.

I'm not sure we needed another one entitled "7th". Maybe we should have one for each position in the table.

I'd be pleased with 8th...

I would say let’s just be grateful and pay tribute to the team that we are not part of the mass relegation dog fight. I haven’t a clue and wouldn’t lay money on who the 3 relegated clubs will be but just celebrating the fact that it won’t be us regardless of whether we go up or down from our current league position
