When evo joined I wasn't sure how good this stumpy little bloke was going to be.
Over the last 2 years he has gone up and up in my estimation. He took a load of sh*te from some people who said he should be dropped about a year ago as he was off the boil. During this whole period his response was to pull his socks up and try even harder even when things weren't going well.
We are honored to have a player like that at our club now as they are few and far between. The passion and the will to win exist in a few players like ince, stuart pearce, tony adams and gascoigne. Evo is one of these players. We have had a few in the past like granger and terry evans, and evo is in this mould. He never gripes when the fans turned on him cos he knows only one person is to blame so he tried harder and everyone saw what he was trying to do.
Evo, have a quite word with lloydy, he can become a folk hero again if he puts the same commitment in that you have showed. He flattened the cambridge goaly on wednesday in an aerial challenge and we all felt he was fighting for the cause. A bit more of that please!

the report in last night standard quoting EVo as saying that he wants Ron to keep the squad together to achieve promotion, summed Evo up.

It was a moral boosting article and I hope that Ron takes note, becuase we all no that we have not played a better team this season, depite our lowly league position.

With a little more consistancy and Evo's passion not just on the pitch but in the stands we could and will have a championship side.

TOGETHER we can win this league.
