Aaron Pierre

Ideal all round you would have thought; need a lot of injuries to get him into the current Match Day Squad.

Aaron Pierre

Id put Aaron Pierre in front of Ben Nugent.

Aaron Pierre

This is his chance to get a run of first team games under his belt, though I think he's just been signed as cover.

Aaron Pierre

Has he officially been moved to LB or is he still a CB for the dev squad?

Aaron Pierre

Based on what? Have you seen him play for the first team?

He played the 2nd half v the wombles. At left back and looked uncomfortable. Think he would have been happier in the middle.

Aaron Pierre

He looked quick and strong but uncomfortable on the ball; I would put Nugent and O'Connor ahead of him in a serious game.

Aaron Pierre

So half a game versus a no league team was enough to make a judgement that he is better than a premiership player. Fair enough. I am not saying that I think Nugent is any good cos I saw him once and nearly wept, but I hardly think Pierre has done much to convince everyone he is a better option unless "half a game looking uncomfortable on the ball against a team from a lower division" is a good thing?

Aaron Pierre

reminded me of a young raw karleigh, a bit of pace to get himself out of trouble but prone to the odd mistake and bad positioning.Still young and plenty of time for improvement!

Aaron Pierre

Not half a game iv seen plenty of both of them, just my opinion.

A good all-rounder, then!

He's thinking, "I can't wait to be released and get stuck in at where I really want to be...my Brentford"

Aaron Pierre

Good move today to Wycombe where he can test himself in league 2. I think he needs to prove himself at that level if he is going to stand a chance of getting into a league 1 team (this year) / championship team (next year). I believe he is in the last few months of his contract if I am not mistaken so will give him a chance to prove he deserves another one.

Good luck to him....

Aaron Pierre

I'd like to see him end up at Southend, Brighton or Wigan.

Aaron Pierre

Most of this current Development Squad generation will probably go on to be released, whether this season or next, but it's good to hear that either way these players are of a quality which means they won't be dropping straight to the Isthmian Premier if they don't make it at GP.

Aaron Pierre

Started their last two games and has apparently been 'immense'. Well done Aaron.

Aaron Pierre

I wonder if Mawson is considered ahead of him although I see no way either will be thrown into a promotion campaign

Aaron Pierre

Agree with above, can see him being recalled if any more bookings, best for now that he stays where he is getting match fitness.

Aaron Pierre

Picked up Man of the Match in "The Sun on Sunday" which doesn't mean much, as they gave Button a 6 and Dean a 7 for our game !

I wasn't suggesting that we'd want to do so, but if 2 suspensions left us with Kev and Craig as CBs, I think I'd like a defender on the bench, just in case... rather than have to switch Alan Mc to CB if someone got injured

Wont be recalled to fill a gap of 1 game. It will be Craig and either Tarkowski or Dean starting with the other dropping to the bench. Then Kev O'Connor covering if any of those get suspended/injured and then if the whole defensive line was to get suspended or injured it would then be McCormack. But come on we are not that unlucky?!

Aaron Pierre

Just scored the first league goal of his career to draw Wycombe back level 1-1 in the crunch match versus Northampton.

was a good header... bizarre goal from Northampton.. simple keepers catch and he throw it in the net lol

From the Main Wycombe Fans Forum on a Bad Day for them; need something to avoid the Conference in their last game next Saturday.

unfortunately there aren't anywhere near enough of players with his sheer determination that we can count on when the going gets tough.

It would seem that Aaron Pierre did very well on loan at Wycombe.

Here's what they're saying about him on their board www.gasroom.com

A Big Thank You Aaron Pierre

You have been an absolute colossus in your short time with us Mr Pierre.
I'm sure i'm not the only one, who would love to see you join us permanently.
But wherever your football career takes you, here at Adams Park you will fondly
remembered as one of the greatest ever loan signings
alongside Stuart Cash and Steven Taylor.

Thank You once more
Mr Pierre.

100% concur. The young man has been magnificent and shown professionalism and pride that has put some of our senior players to shame. If we had 10 Aaron Pierres on field, it's unlikely we'd have only just stayed up by the skin of our teeth.

Both he and Danny Rowe have been brilliant for us. I sincerely hope we can keep one or both of them for next season.

Pierre has been exceptional, young Danny Rowe has also come in and shown a lot of class.

Aaron Pierre

A young player has shown he has the skill determination and balls to swim in a high pressure relegation battle.

I hope he stays with us and develops further next seaso with another loan spell.

Aaron Pierre

With him Mawson and Calvet we really do seem to have the centre back position well covered
