Academy Contracts Update

Can't see a thread linked to the news about Academy players new contracts, but this is excellent news and the first time that I can remember that we have given so many young players contracts. Congratulations to them all and the staff that have nurtured them through this far :bound::bound: #newbrentford

Pleased to see Charlie 'Better than Charlie Adam' Adams get offered two years.

Surprised German got another year, must look great in training, and to see young Hippolyte shown the door.

All in all, sounds pretty positive stuff though.

People who have been offered a deal are yet to sign it. For example German may not want to sign another development squad contract and try and seek a better wage playing first team football at a lower level.

Thanks to both of you.

It is great to see the work of the staff and young players themselves paying dividends and getting rewarded. Question to anyone in the know. Does Michael Onovwigun have another year with us?

All in all, sounds pretty positive stuff though.

German looked good against MK Dons, obviously could have been better but he's young and has spent most of the season in League 2, his technique was spot.

He's not part of the Dev Squad yet. Still in the youth team I think.

Although Alfie Mawson and Aaron Pierre are in the dev squad and nothing has been mentioned about them...

Pierre is mentioned. Offered 1 more year. Mawson will be entering his 2nd year Dev contract...

I remember reading about Michael Onovwigun 3 years ago now. I hope he makes it with us.

Doesn't mention Emmanuel Oyeleke either but I think he has another year .. ?
