who is impressing in League 1....


for me, clearly Huddersfield have continued their form from last season, and with Pavel Abbott and Taylr-Fletcher, they have a fearsome strike force

Rotherham are also playing well and should be there at the end, I wonder what reception Deon will get back at GP ?

I cant see Port Vale, Scunthorpe or Swansea hanging on at the top end, but i do believe Walsall will climb higher than they are...


at the bottom I think Gillingham showed what a poor team they were yesterday, I cant see Bristol City down there all season but Oldham are on a very poor run, despite a lot of changes in the summer. Hopefully MK Dons' young team will plummet very soon (starting in 2 weeks !)

I expected Blackpool to be higher as well, never mind.....

plusses for Bees are (1) hanging onto our central defenders, who are a match for any strike force in this league and (2) the early season form of Rankin, Brooker and Tabb has shown we have players that can beat people.

Agree with Udders and think Forest may well come good and sneak a play off place behind us as runners up to someone or other

Huddersfield are clearly going to be there or there abouts if they keep Abbott.

I've not seen anyone who looked particularly special, Gillingham, Tranmere, Barnsley and Scunthorpe are decent but no more.

If Harris does ok Gillingham may be best of those.

Forest and Brizzle will surely rise, but not sure they'll be top 2.

Bardford have been lower than i expected so far.

Oldham have drawn with Colchester and been beaten by Tranmere (4-0)+ Rotherham

their wins were against Yeovil (h), Chesterfield (h) and Swindon (a)

I would have thought to be play-off contenders they would be looking at 15 points from those games....

Well it will.

Tinnion's in his second season now, which could end in relegation.

I imagine their third season will be one of consolidation in League Two.

So, promotion back into league 1 will take at least four years!

Without doubt, the hardest division to choose from. Anyone from about 15 will be in with promotion and play off place imho. All sides seem quite capable one day and c rap the next.

Size and quality of squad between now and January, before transfer window opens, will be a major factor.

I reckon Swansea will last the distance. If :afro: gets injured Rotherham have problems. I'm disappointed we didn't pick up more points from Gillingham. It really could go to the wire this season, but I'm sure will be banging them in soon.
