Can't find a 606 thread, so this will do ......... Used to love listening to 606 with Alan Green, but last night I tuned into that ****, Robbie Savage moaning about referees for the whole show. Had to turn it off in the end. Sounds more like Talk Sport now which is a shame. 606 used to be so good

listened to it on the coach on the way back, well we all did, didn't think it was that bad..

Have to agree it wasn't the best 606 last night. The one good thing though was that Alan Green wasn't on it.

Just remembered there a few good bits .... as and when those Fulham fans came on and said how bad their team is now. Was music to my ears

Alan Green knows nothing, NOTHING, about football from below championship level. He has a great commentating voice but spends most of the commentarymoaning and criticising and calling anyone and everyone 'stupid' or 'idiots'

Both Fletcher and Savage are woeful and agree that the show is turning very Talk Sport like which is a real shame.

Fulham fans were the highlight last night (I could've told them they are s**t years ago)

All the commentators/ pundits do it these days. Martin Tyler banged on the whole Cardiff v Manu game today about the decision not to send Rooney off. Maybe the ref should have, maybe he shouldn't have, maybe he just missed it...but he and Neville just wouldn't let it go...tedious in extreme.

6-0-6 used to be best when Danny Baker used to host the original show years ago. Then the show was about funny football stories rather than current affairs which is done to death over a weekend now TalkSport are on the scene.

Funny stories like what have you had confiscated whilst enetring a football ground, a woman rang up and she had her breast pump taken at Bristol Rovers!:D

Still "The Daddy" of radio commentators. Simply brilliant if you are looking at tempo in his commentary on match action. Unrivalled.

Fletcher is very, very good too - also now doing work for BT Sport TV.
