very pleased with this. hopefully hold onto our lads and add 1-2 more and it should be a very interesting 2nd half of the season

In all the years I've been supporting the Bees I really cant remember the last time we strengthened rather than sold our best players and retained such promising loanees when we've been so close to achieving a promotion or been around the the top 10. The "Feel Good Factor" continues and gathers pace! Bloody hell!!

Annoying little S@*te when playing against us but always had quality about him. Decent loan signing which does indeed signal our intent. Assuming that he will start on the left where does this leave the very in form Sam at the moment?

This squad just keeps getting better and better. Saville, Trotts and now Judge on loan. Automatic feels all but guaranteed now.

Agreed, love the feel good factor and why not given our fantastic run and the strengthening of the squad but the race is only half run and we cannot take anything for granted. We are in as good a position as we have ever been to kick on for automatic promotion but I for one will never think anything is guaranteed.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the excitement. We are in by far the best position to get promoted out of this sh*tty league this year, than at any other time of my Brentford supporting life but some of the vibes on here are setting my teeth on edge :(

I don't wish to single out ManchesterBee either, so sorry for that mate :sorted:

Its not a victory lap, its mealy an acknowledgement of a very good chances we have. Only the most pessimistic of fans would now claim we haven't got a really good chance of going up.

I would like to see Sam have a free rein to play just behind the front two, linking with the midfield. I think we have yet to see the best of Sam Saunders. He strikes me as a player who, when unshackled, will be a nightmare to play against. I think he is very much a 'confidence' player, but let loose, I can see him popping up on either wing, and scaring the crap out of the opposition with his runs into the box.

True but but we've also witnessed us snatching defeat from the jaws of victory on more occasions than I care to list and given we have the joint worst play off record some of us are still loathe to start celebrating too early and before we've won anything.

I think Warburton must have built the strongest Bees squad I have ever seen. We have strength in depth in all positions now. We will be like the British Lions soon and be able to put out a midweek and a weekend side. Welcome the Judge.

We will never go up via league 1 playoffs .. But we will get promoted to the prem via the championship playoffs in our 1st attempt next season.

I presume his fitness won't be sufficient for 90 mins to begin with and hence he will probably share the left hand side with Sam to start with; once he is up to 90 mins it will come down to who is playing the best. At the moment you would have to say that he has got his work cut out to displace SS, not a bad thing as we will want to get the best out of him?

I think most of us on hear have become paranoid over the years that early celebration or even a hint of overconfidence will result in cursing the team. Personally I have refrained from driving past the ground on the elevated section fist pumping and shouting out "we are going up" as I am have convinced myself that this has led to abject disappointment come May in previous seasons. It of course has the added benefit of avoiding other motorists thinking you are completely mad.

Personally I have refrained from driving past the ground on the elevated section fist pumping and shouting out "we are going up" as I am have convinced myself that this has led to abject disappointment come May in previous seasons. It of course has the added benefit of avoiding other motorists thinking you are completely mad.

I have to admit I've been suffering from 'premature celebration' for many years and have found it a real hindrance, but hey there is light at the end of the tunnel for all us sufferers and I would suggest you read my leaflet or go to my website www.paranoidprematurecelebration.com :D
