Alright chaps

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post a hello but will give it a whirl.

as my name suggests I'm a Chelsea fan, something that has to be justified nowadays by saying I go and supported us before Abramovich took over.

Anyway I was bored of Americans arguing with Australians about John Terry on the Chelsea forum and chanced upon your site, I've got a lot of time for Brentford as your my local club and go and watch you now and then when we aren't playing.

So, alright and good luck for next season chaps.

Alright chaps

Living in West Ealing and a Chelsea supporter  Still at least you're not a QPRer!

Just to let you know we're an evangelical club and you've just taken the first step on your conversion!

Alright chaps

Families all Chelsea on both sides mate, stems from the 1970 cup final.

QPR = small time club who spend all their energy hating us when we're at best ambivalent, same as Fulham.

How do you think you'll do next season?

Alright chaps

Every decent Chelsea fan I know has had a liking for the BEES. From my experience one of the reasons is because both clubs really hate Fulham and QPHa. Of there is the obvious West London clubs link and that traditionally with the BEES, you could drag along Chelsea mates along without any hassle of having a ticket etc.

When I was at school (1979 - 1985) and the BEES were away up north, I went to a few big games at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea friends of my brothers (who is WHU & BEES) and it was good fun.

Please don`t think I am taking the michael, but the new 2010 Chelsea and Bridge is about as appealing to me as the rest of business football for the mega rich. Chelsea I am afraid lost it`s soul in the 1990`s.

Good luck with the trophy hunt and bringing back the heart of the club pushed out by £40 a game. John Terry on £200,000.00 a week.

Please continue to come down to GP and enjoy it.

I do remember a snide joke in the Chelsea prog though:
A man walks into the Brentford Ticket Office and slaps two fivers on the counter and says "two please".
Man behind the counter says "midfielders or defenders?":(

I bet you have a few crosses to bare mate.:fishing::fishing::fishing:

I was successful in dragging them to GP for a few games though - am I redeemed?

I have to quote you so Mark can see this Ace Face. He has put you on ignore and will never be able to see your posts again :nono:

I went to a few Chelsea v Leeds game when I was a teengaer, no love for either but a good drink with mates and an experience never to forget.
Fear not my friend, you were being normal.

Alright chaps

I use to go to school behind the old North Stand at Chelsea in the 70's. On the other side of the tube line.

When Brentford were playing away and I couldn't get to the games I use to go to the Bridge with my Chelsea supporting mates. To be fair they all had a soft spot for the Bees and use to be frequent visitors to GP. Saw some great games on and off the pitch.

Alright chaps

loads of chelsea fans like the bees, the few chels games i went to at wembly last season i saw loads of brentford fans up there, time peeps got over it. you have to go to other grounds and see other teams on the odd occasion to expand your knowledge of the game, makes me laugh when poele are in shock when i say i been here or there but yet they think they know it all about the game!

Alright chaps

Most of my mates are Chelsea (old school), and to a Man/Woman they were delighted when we got promoted last season. I have even persuaded my Chelsea supporting Nephew to buy a Brentford season ticket for next season.
