i know where my pride was, it was in my hand at that time of the evening..

Word has reached me that Frampton told the rest of the players not to clap the paddock today?
Anyone care to elaborate?
Rubbish, it was Framo who kept the players in the centre circle until the other players and staff had gone and took them over to New Road, then the Paddock and then Ealing Road to clap the fans. He was geed up through the match and after and as Kev O is captain, he should be ashamed to let his Vice Captain take the lead and do this. There were 7 players left on the field altogether with Framo and I think if it hadn't been for him, then all the players would have left the field without clapping. The team didnt play that badly and it was the tossers in the paddock and Ealing Road that should be ashamed of their behaviour with hand gestures and aggression towards the players. Notice that the fans in the forecourt protest didn't do the same and clapped and cheered the players as they left, as the scoreline flattered Crewe.Word has reached me that Frampton told the rest of the players not to clap the paddock today?

..................probably about as much credence to this story as for the "O'Connor to Liverpool for £1million" story..............sorry, article......lolThe team didnt play that badly and it was the tossers in the paddock and Ealing Road that should be ashamed of their behaviour with hand gestures and aggression towards the players.
Frampton was clearly trying to indicate to several players to blank the Braemar...........like it or not, that is fact.
I can tolerate most things but his reaction was ****ing disgraceful......and to think that my £20 went towards part of his wages makes me feel physically sick.

I guess it's just nonsense Bob.
Rubbish, it.
Looking at other replies - maybe not.

I think he did his best to ensure the players recognised the fans' support on all sides of the ground. They can't win with the GPG. If they had walked off heads down they would have got slated. When they do clap the fans they get slated. Looks like some have decided that Frampton has an attitude problem and anything he does from now on will be seen in that light. IMHO that would be a mistake. He is one of our own, I'm proud he wears our shirt and yesterday he gave nothing less than 100% for the cause.
Ealing Road???? There's nobody in Ealing Road.
IMO I'd have much rather the players trudged off heads bowed rather than swan around the pitch like they won the game. The 2nd half performance was pathetic. And the players who 'milked' some of the crowds applause should be ashamed of themselves. They are paid to play for the manager whoever it may be, and they didn't do that yesterday
Those who clapped them are idiots.
Andy Frampton lead the applause of New Road and then Breamar Road yesterday. When he saw a number of 'supporters' giving hand gestures, he stopped clapping and turned to another player and pointed it out.
He worked hard yesterday and is an important player at the club. A number of fans in the paddock behaved disgracefully and should be ashamed of themselves.

Who the hell are you to be calling me an idiot. I clapped the players to show my recognition of the passion and effort shown compared with the previous few weeks.
And like many others have said, whilst it obviously right for him to go, on a personal level I felt desperately sorry for Leroy standing completely on his own in front of the dugout listening to all the chants for his sacking. It is a dreadful experience knowing that while you have done your best and put heart and soul into a job for whatever reason it all goes wrong.

I wasn't at the game. After last weekends debacle I just couldn't stomach it.
It gave me no pleasure to receive the four texts Ricko sent me during the afternoon.
But why are people on here defending the players who basically were parading at the end clapping the fans for a performanace that has ultimately cost an honest man his job?
And if Frampton behaved as some have reported, I will take a personal crusade to hound that C*** out of my club, who does Charlie Big Bollox think he is?
Frampton you are an average player who deserves nothing more than what you currently have at the moment pal...

F
I think the players have got off very lightly. How many of us would have been sacked from our jobs if we were useless.
Paul Roberts...too many years ago...some players need a little reminder...
My take on it was that the players were applauding us for putting up with what we'd just seen. There was no air of celebration about it whatsoever. And if some idiot in the Paddock (or anywhere) does a ****er sign at Framps, then it's fine by me if Framps gets the arse about it. As has been said, there was no deliberate attempt to ignore the Paddock.
Frampton was the only one out there yesterday who showed any sort of passion apart from Moore . . hes just as frustrated as any of us at the teams performances this season and its not his fault the whole of last years side have been replaced and hes been left with a bunch of crap thats come in.
What did he actually do wrong?! Throw his water down or aim it towards the paddock from about 250 yards away? The paddock being all hard and that shouldn't really feel threatened by this should they? Perhaps the water was thrown because his side which hes given everything too over the last 4 years hasn't won for 16 games and lost 4-0 yesterday. Yesterday we lost because we've got poor quality players not that we gave no effort.
