I would probably agree with that. Whenever he played he looked neat and tidy rather than dangerous or likely to score but he never got enough of a look in for me to really judge him. He certainly held the ball up better than Micky Tony Curry and I've seen him score a couple of crackers this year for Southend on Sky.

I trust Wally's judgement and what we have now is better than Leon from the limited amount I saw. Probably a 3rd Division player.

It's been a right cull so far this season. Thing is most of the ones sacked so far have been quite sh*t. Which is unusual normally a couple of decent ones go for no reason.

Still don't think it is going to hope.

They need all their players pulling in the right direction and they have too many who don't care about the club.

Steve McMahon claims he hasn't applied for the Oldham job.

Now why would Oldham announce that the manager of a team struggling almost as much as they are had applied for the job if it wasn't true? Is it National 'Let's upset a rival team' Day?
