Arctic Bees

I am taking some of my students on a trip to the Arctic beginning next week. We're going to Iceland, Norway and Finland. Was hoping to catch a match or two while I am over there and would be great to do so with some fellow local Bees! At the moment I think my best bet is to go see Tromso when we're there but also open to other suggestions. Anyone know where Ivar, Oli or Herman live these days? Below are towns and dates:
Reykjavik, May 27-31
Akureyri, May 31-June 2
Reykjavik June 2
Oslo, June 3-5
Tromso, June 5-9
Inari, June 9
Rovaniemi, June 10-14
Fly out Helsinki.

I saw a mini-documentary on Ivar during half-time in a televised game. He was living in the middle of nowhere, setting up some kind of farm/guesthouse. Worth a visit if you can get there!

I thought he died of an over dose about a year or so ago. Maybe wrong but for some reason it was the first thought that popped into my head when you mentioned him

I don't think anyone could confirm if there was truth in that as he had gone into hiding

Yep! That's how I'll always remember him.

I can't find it right now, but I seem to remember that in the pen pictures in the programme for the cup final we played at Cardiff, his nickname among the players was said to be 'Smokey'. Now we know what he was smoking.
