Last time up at the Emirates we had a train strike to deal with, so other than Holloway Rd being closed for an hour after the game, is anyone aware of any other travel restriction on Saturday?

I parked in the road at King's Cross and walked there and back last time but I guess that's not an option for Saturday afternoon games.

I posted elsewhere, that those coming in from the West and going round the Chiswick roundabout up A406

The WESTWAY IS CLOSED AT THE WEEKENDS

If you are using the Piccadilly Tube Line , Holloway Rd Station closes for 1 hour after the game. Not sure how you can cut through to Caledonian Rd Station ,

the first ever away game i can walk to (living in crouch end, probably a 50 minute walk to emirates...) can't wait :D

No through trains from Brentford/Kew Bridge to Vauxhall/ Waterloo on Saturday. Bus replacement service operating from Barnes to Clapham Junction.

Think we might drink somewhere in Ealing then get the train to Arsenal. Plough in Northfields perhaps or one of the 'Spoons.

My choice too as I expect that to be easier than Arsenal station and the Piccadilly line.

Although I might change at Green Park onto the Piccadilly line coming home.

Just as long as Leeds aren’t down here is good for us Yorkshire Bees, cause of their knuckledraggers all trains are dry.

Leeds home to Man U on Sunday, should be interesting, and not only from a footballing point of view.

Quite. Use LNER most weeks although don’t go anywhere as far north as Yorkshire so have been witness to Leeds and their lot on the trains semi-regularly.

Holloway Rd Station closed for 1hr post game, Highbury Islington crowd control on to the station can queue for 10 - 15 mins , If you want the Piccadilly , Look at Maps cut across from Holloway Rd to Caledonia Rd for its station 10 - 15 min walk

Thinking of walking to Finsbury Park after the game, which would be the stop before Arsenal if heading westbound on the Piccadilly. Is about a 15 min walk from the ground but no idea how busy that would be.

I used to live in Highbury and that’s a safe bet to secure getting on a train Westwards. Might have to queue for a bit though.

Did that a few years back. It was very busy and a bit of a queue at FP.

It's a memory lane trip for me, my grandparents and a couple of aunts lived in Willesden and we got the train from KGS to Kensal Rise regularly as kids. Platform was lit by gas light in those days, which always fascinated me, together with steam locomotives at Willesden Junction – another world!

Dorking Deepdene to Redhill to Finsbury Park at the moment.
I will walk up Blackstock Road pass The Gunner turning right towards the North Bank and walk to Arsenal tube Station remembering my particular journey on that route in May 1982.
Be the first time for me since that day.

I used to catch the North London Line in 1977 during rush/peak hour from Richmond to Brondesbury Park. It was hardly used and I think there was talk of closing the line down. Last time I caught it a few years ago I couldn't get a seat :( .

We used it for the WestHam game. Gunnersbury to Hackney Wick. Worked a treat although a bit slow.

References to Arsenal tube station. Think it's closed on match days. Added to that Drayton Park Station is definitely closed for their home games. Finsbury Park easiest - about 10/15 minute walk to the ground.
