I just had to laugh at Wenger last night on the premiership when he tried to say that Pires definately got clipped against Portsmouth but that Holland had dived! For all those pundits whoe sday how intelligent he is and how much he thinks about the game this episode shows him up a little in his reluctance to actually admonish one of his own players.

Make what you will of it, I thought Holland just stumbled trying to avoid a tackle and got a lucky penalty.

Pires was far more cynical, he put his foot in the way of the opposing player and fell over his leg, Alan Smith called it a "very clever" piece of forward play on Skysports which just winds me up as I call it a deliberate act of cheating, no more no less.
