We had four fixtures against non-league rubbish and one against Reading. The Reading result is great but anything but a tonking of the other four would have been a disaster.MikeL said:Have we ever had a 100% winning run pre-season?
Russell said:see? 2 minutes left and there's no match report typical Brentford we'll get relegated if Chapman doesn't buck his ideas up who made him team manager anyway thats what i want to know he was crap at pr and the pencils were never sharp in the press box either no wonder john lyons left the chronny and the ice in the board room still isn't cold enough i mean its not like its warm is it and then he has the cheek to go on holiday a few months ago whats the world coming to next thing he'll be blaming it all on that nice mr noades and then you'll see how wrong you were about him abee i tild you and beeh he was a good bloke and i need a holiday quick nurse double dose of medication quick..... gurgle, blub, sob....
Last Saturday every other League club that played that afternoon had some sort of score and report (some even had pictures) on their official website by 5:50. We had to wait another two hours for the result on ours. Don't they have phone lines in Newmarket?

Really bad.Jimbee said:You should've phoned Newmarket to check. The person running the website gets paid a pittance to work a full week and then has to cover matches home and away on a Saturday and all he gets is grief from people who couldn't be bothered to go to the game but are all to happy to sit on their fat arses and moan from behind a keyboard.

There was no press box at Newmarket, no telephone lines - so folks, no match report until I sped home.
Anyone that saw a nutter in a car editing photographs on a laptop on the M11 on Saturday afternoon in readiness to upload - well it was me! mobile Internet access is patchy due to network coverage.
To to put thew whole thing into context, QPR have two full-time and one part-time staff working on their website. Even Hartlepool have three paid matchday staff. Well, it's just moi for BFC, so you will have to take that on board.
We must have been the only website in the Coca Cola League to carry photos of all the pre-season games - even the behind closed doors ones!
Too many keyboard warriors methinks. It's so easy to **** into the tent, isn't it?
Russell said:This is typical of Mark Chapman, who is without doubt the laziest of all of the lazy wastrels employed by Brentford. Where's the match report? Why hasn't the official site been updated? Where are we in the league? Surely we should know by now who we've got in the FA Cup? Pathetic Chapman, pathetic :mad1:

Luton Bee said:So you are calling me a liar are you? Perhaps you could list all the other professional teams websites who were not updated for 3 hours after the final whistle on Saturday then, or perhaps you put the score and report up "when you saw fit"?
No telephone lines at Newmarket? rofl
