I'd forgotten about every match in Spain getting its own thread, it must be a tradition or an old charter or something.

Great to be in a bar full of Real Madrid fans watching their team lose, especially after they hit the post 3 times. Great to see Ronaldo sent off for retaliation, a good bit of handbags, and Mourinho gets another year en blanco. (Or will they count the Spanish Supercup as a trophy?)

The assist from Falcao for the equaliser was Messiesque (0:45 in the video), and Courtois' save to seal the win - check it out at 4:15.

Entertaining game, would have given out more BAFTAs than footballing awards but nonethless some good goals, a decent punch up on the sidelines and late drama. Ronaldo sending off looked a bit harsh

Spain doesn't have a neutral national stadium?

No they don't , neither do a number of major footballing countries including Germany and Italy I think.

Is the final always at real Madrid ground?

Nine of Athletico's ten cup final wins have been at The Bernabeu.
