Away kit

Sorry if this has been discussed already, if it has can you put a link up....

Are we keeping the same away kit as last year or changing it at all??

It could save me over a 1er if we keep the same....pesky kids... :nono:  :)

I think the black away kit will become our 3rd kit this season with a new gold kit becoming the 2nd (away kit).

You know, for when we play a team with whom the red & white and black kits will provide a colour clash...

Bournemouth maybe.

Debatable. When we played them in the Worthnothing Cup, the ref was content that our red and white kits were distinguishable. But I think there was a problem with the reserve game and I think (I wasn't there) that we ended up borrowing a kit from the Cherries.

Our new second kit is described as Old Gold on the Football League official site. I haven't seen it, but from what I hear, it is not the old gold of Wolves, but closer to orange.

How about getting one of these shirts, Joker? Orange, with St George on it! rofl lol

They might prove a big seller amongst some GPG members, but not me!

I can't even get an old GMB sponsored shirt in my size; they've sold out.

Away kit

There's a picture going around which I haven't seen yet, of the one that's apparently in the club shop and put it out via email, I heard it was marmalade colour and that the sponsor's logo is too far down the shirt.

Away kit

Here you go CJC, not sure if this is the right way to attach things. Fingers crossed!

Away kit

hmm

agree Logos too low, St George will stick out over my fat belly ! TFG should be smaller and the BFC crest smaller and on one breast

Why were the fans not asked.
They should have got a junior to wear it at half time like they did a few years ago.
Guess there was no chance of that cos the poor sod would have been ridiculed off the park

Away kit

Looks like the shirt is tucked in to something. The badge had better be in full colour. Otherwise it's not as bad as I thought it could be.

Away kit

It's alright. We've had better, we've had worse. Probably won't get it, but I don't buy that many shirts anyway.

Agree that the club crest would be better in colour. Guess TFG had some of the monchrome ones left over from last years away shirt..... Made some sense on that one as there was no colour on it anywhere, but looks wrong on the new one.

The black shirt was quite nice as a replica for us folks to wear but as far as players go I'm a traditionalist who thinks that black should be reserved for the onanists with the whistles, so on that score I'm quite happy to have some colour back :D

Away kit

No no no! :nono:
It's awful! The players will look like stewards!

Away kit

It looks crap. Worse than the Super-League sh*te!

TFG is Super League rebranded I believe.

Away kit

Very bright , stands out does it glow in the dark for evening matches. Prefer blue+orange away kit myself but i'm sure loyal bees will get used to the new kit.

Away kit

I know its easy to sit there and moan about stuff the club do/dont do, but here goes my 1 for the season, and maybe something to learn for next time.....

We should ask the fans to vote on what kit they want next season, even if its something as trivial as having the badges on breast (ooh err) or all in a vertical lines we could do this with fuzzy felt on the last home game of the season at half time.

Just like we did with Dobbo (I think that was who it was?? please correct me) when that awful black and red stripe kit was roundly booed.

I am very happy that the kit is Orange, with St George on it, but feel this kit could of looked a little less cheap.

Anyone notice the T-Shirt in the back ground, it looks superb like a bottle of becks logo, but look at the quality, if you get a quality T-Shirt made and sell it for say £11, surely must be better than a cheap tacky one that will last 2 washes?? for a fiver or whatever it is...... :D :) :nono: :blush

Away kit

I don't have a major problem with the colour (although I would rather it not be orange), it's just that it looks horribly cheap & tacky. What is with the black and white logo again?

Although not one to own or wear football shirts (apart from on the football pitch, of course), I'd be truly embarrassed to walk down the streets in that piece of sh*t. I'll be surprised if the club shifts more than half a dozen.

Oh well, theres more important things in the world to get worked up about than naff second strips, but still....

Indeed maybe we will get more kits sold and to people we don't usually sell bees shirts to.

We need to get a colour logo back the other one looks stupid and doesn't go with the sponsors logo either.

Is there a home shirt with the new sponsor on yet?

Away kit

I don't like it, we are Brentford, not Blackpool!

I don't mind the St George sign!

Away kit

I dont know if i should laugh or cry, this kit is piss poor looks like a cheap thing thrown together.

Though i didnt like our shirts from last year , i may get use to them.

Away kit

dont like it.very run of the mill.wonder what the home shirt looks like with stgeorge on it?

Away kit

Maybe that's just a quickly mocked-up shirt, bearing little relation to what it will eventually look like? It would be a lot better to stick the club and TFG logos on each breast and move the St George logo up a few inches. And use a colour logo. I thought the black and white badge looked quite smart on the black shirt (although I know not everyone shares this view), but on an orange shirt it looks silly.

Away kit

I admire the optimism Ed, but I think we should sell them sans BFC badge to unionist groups, and get a safe white kit with black trim.

Away kit

Just dont wear the shirt waiting for a train, before u know it, u will have a pick in one hand making important engineering repairs!!

Away kit

couldn't give a sh1t re the badges, just change the feckin' colour ! :drunk:

oh and tell Mr King he has lousy taste when selecting footie kits

Correct Sir..

With TFG, the Club Badge and The St George logo it looks like a f£king motor racing top... AWFUL...

Away kit

Typical Brentford, if they'd got it out a bit sooner they could have done roaring trade in Belfast. ;)

Away kit

got him before anyone else did !

Would that be the Tesco Value range of clothing by any chance??

:D :D :D :D

Away kit

I think this is another apt moment to remind people, that Woodsy (one of the bees away regulars, who sadly has no intraweb access) wore a George from Asda shirt when we went on the piss in Manchester after the Oldham game lol lol rofl

Well it most certainly isn't Tesco's Finest range, it just can't be !

WarrenBee, ever hear the story re Greenholme standing outside Tesco's for his good lady to finish the Value shopping, his wardrobe's that bad that people threw over £20 on the floor in front of him ! :D

I bet that £20.00 went a long long way, think of how many tins of beans you can buy at 9p per tin.

Greenholme, such a nice bloke bar his Tesco' Value habit !

I bet an Orange shirt with a St George on the front would go down fairly well in certain areas, and less so in others.

I haven't had a decent look but I don't really mind the colour.

What about the vodka that was put into an expensive looking bottle? That must have cost at least £1.35.So what the hell did he do with £13.65 that was left??No doubt that was invested in The White Horse in Wycombe.

:D :D :D :D

Away kit

Doesn't look that bad to me.

I'll have pop along to the club shop and see it in the flesh.

The only thing that puts off is that I might be mistaken for a Luton Town supporter due to were I live !. :box:

Away kit

Looks cheap n nasty to me. Black n white badge - I can see the point on the black away shirt, but this one?

I was seriously considering buying the away kit, but 2 years running I've been dissapointed now :(
