Away Registration
After some feedback please.....
Apparently there is some dfficulty in administering the away registration for ticket priority. As i have stated elsewhere, whilst i understand that some prioirities need to be set i am still unconvinced that season ticket holders should come before those that travel away regularly when it comes to the 'big' games. Under the customer charter it would be doubtful that i would have got to the Southampton game, even though i missed in total only 8 games last season, includng ne horrendous trek from Northampton down to GP, and then all the way up to Hartlepool for the Tuesday night game!!
Would anyone other than me and one or two others i have spoken to be interested in an away ticket voucher system?
It would work along the following lines...... at the start of the season you could purchase a book of vouchers either 5 or 10 for £30 or £55 respectively
Each time a voucher is used to purchase a ticket you would receive £5 off the cost of said ticket. Therefore when it comes to the game of the season such as Southampton away last year all those who hold away ticket vouchers would have first refusal. Then we can move onto the order on the customer charter. The away season ticket would end up costing a fiver (just to cover any costs)...
It may be a terrible idea in which case i apologise..... but it seems to make sense to someone like me who doesnt have a season ticket but travels home and away to a majority of games.
