Barnet away

Barnet away

Probably be some of our fans going I suppose.

Barnet away

I was well up for this at start of the season as can do a pub crawl from my gaff to the ground. Then it ended up mid-week in feb, then Bees ended up in freefall

Barnet away

..................oh yes................

Barnet away

Well as I work a short-ish walk from Underhill and have already arranged for an early finish to hit the pubs beforehand I think the only thing stopping me going will be if I'm too comatose to move.

Barnet away

i'm going.

day before my birthday so i'm putting my foot down. :sorted:

Will it be all ticket?

When is it?

Barnet away

Pretty sure it will be all ticket, as they are re-developing the away end, I believe we will only get 400 tickets for it. We are far too big a team to not take that plus some :sorted:

Barnet away

The ground only holds about 3,000, we'd take that on our own.

Barnet away

Bloody pikeys, we'd better get our fair share of allocation...3 of us going from here for sure :sorted:

Barnet away

I'll be there. Easy trip north on the Northern Line. The ground is a stones throw from the tube station.

The internet football ground guide ( http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/park/yfh45/barnet.htm ) says:

"Away fans are housed on one side of the covered East Terrace, towards the North End of the ground. This area accommodates around 1,000 supporters. If demand requires it then the open North Terrace can also be allocated, increasing the allocation to 1,500."

From your description it looks as if the North Terrance might be the one you are referring to - that still leaves "around 1,000 supporters" in the covered East Terrarce. I (or the IFGG) could be completely wrong of course

Barnet away

My mind has gone blank but I'm sure I recall some nutjob in the home end right next to us last time we played them (the Tabb game :love2: ). Can anyone jog my memory?

Yeah he (they) went on and on as if it was the only chant they knew until they were put down with

"Don't worry
sh*t Happens
There's bound to be a cure"

Barnet away

Of course. Its got half day written all over it.

Barnet away

As with Dag & Red we should nearly outnumber the home support

Barnet away

Barnet have a lot more fans than D&R. By comparison, they are a massive club.

 Barnet average 2067, while D&R average 1971. Think our turnout might be lower as it is a Tuesday night.

Barnet away

il be going to that game, for sureee
coach is the easiest option to barnet

Barnet away

the train is cheaper, but surely its harder to get there, and the stadium may be a long walk from the station

the easiest train journey ever was to dagenham, one train all the way there =]

Barnet away

Believe me the train will be easier than rush hour(s) on the m25. Plus you can get sh*tfaced :sorted:

Get me a ticket Nick (I'll pay for it) and I'll meet up for the half-dayer:cool:

Didn't they get the hump about some anti-semetic chant once?:fishing:
Also, Barnet was where I first heard the Russian submarine chant!rofl
