Bee Spotting

Picked up some people in the taxi last weekend. A young lady sat in the front, her boyfriend and his mother sat in the back. Got chatting to her and it transpired they were over on the island from London. She said she was from Peckham. But she was gobsmacked when I told her I was from Brentford. Turned out fella me lad in the back was a season ticket holder and Mother has lived all her life in Brentford. I didn't get to chat to them about it as the Peckham lass was acting very much in a chaperone role, on account of the fact that the two in the back were absolutely c**ted and either sleeping or talking gibberish. I was glad to get the f***ers out of the car to be honest. :)
I thought you were the IOW not the Isle of Sheppey ?

Bee Spotting

Saw a bloke in the new pink away shirt having a beer in the Lido Bar in the Dockyard near Selsey.
Saw him and his family again this morning at the Waterfront in Seal Bay. Fortunately we returned to London this afternoon so no more stalking.
Also happy to report that the large Fulham flag on a twenty foot flagpole outside a house on the main road into East Wittering has now gone. I like to think that Ruislip Bee chopped it down.

No I heard he’s changed and has switched allegiance to Chelsea as they are awesome as have more defense and offense than the other soccer guys

Not a recent encounter (2015, if my memory serves me correctly), but it was when the wife and I were on holiday in Jersey. We were wandering round the indoor market in St. Helier, when this bloke came around a corner, wheeling a trolley, as he was delivering stuff to one of the stalls. He was moving quire fast, so I stepped sideways, but he stopped and stepped in front of me. I went to step to the side again, but held out his hand.
"I've got to shake your hand, mate", he said, "I'm a Brentford fan" (I was wearing an old away shirt and he'd clocked the badge).

:p I was in West Quay shopping centre earlier this week and saw a kid in a red and white striped footy shirt. Thought it was one of the local scummers wearing an old Saints shirt but to my surprise it was a Bees shirt... :sorted:
Could have been one of my little grandsons. They live in Shirley and always go around in their Bees shirts just to p*ss off the locals

Catching up with this thread reminds me that Mr Logan was spotted striding purposefully across Waterloo Station whilst we were on our way to the London Stadium to see the Foo Fighters in June, couldn’t go and say hello as there were hundreds of Taylor Swift fans going in opposite direction between us, I think she was playing at Wembley that evening
I assume Nick wasn’t heading there as well….

Not a case of "Bee Spotting", but that reminded me of another occurrence, when I was in Jersey. I was wearing a Brentford home shirt and these 2 blokes were walking towards me, glaring at me. I realised the reason, when I saw one was wearing a Pompey shirt. Their expressions changes to smiles, when they realised mine wasn't a Saints shirt.

Kev O’Connor (or his doppelgänger) is in the Virgin Atlantic lounger at Terminal 3 at the moment ?

Going to Saudi to teach Ivan how to take penalties. I gather that Trotta is flying there too for the same reason...

What time would you imagine the club expect our players to be tucked up in bed the night before a game?

The medical department don’t even know whether Rico should or should not do 45 minutes in a behind closed game. So what times bed time is probably not a priority

St Pancras yesterday. Man in navy with old castle badge tattoo on leg. Got on board a Nottingham train around 11ish.

I was waiting for a later Bedford train and had a seat on the concourse.

Walking along Highbury Place on Friday afternoon… man in blue away shirt with castle badge. Had headphones in, so didn’t respond to my “You Bees!”

Just spotted a bloke in our brown kit cycling on Effra Road in Brixton. Possibly same fella I’ve seen around Tulse Hill. Are you a GPGer?

A Bee in a black zip up on platform 22 at Waterloo earlier. I didn't have time to stop

on platform 22...

at Waterloo...

a Bee in a black zip up...

earlier...

I didn't have time to stop.

I swirled past him...

and made my way clear to the streets of the whole City....

Landfall...if I was not all wind.

Looking back and somewhat down as I alighted...

I saw the Bee again...

there on its platform...

joined by another...

two bees, then....

One in a black zip up...

and one...I see as I go...

all shouting & vitriol and pointing...

" Knotty this two bees, " thinks I...

as I fly the tops of chimney pots...

and on to far away...

the new one or the old...?

3.5 years for your debut post, definitely scores high for artistic impression.
