We're all up for this Saturday, should bring good numbers.

Cheers.

It is, before the game and at half time.

Many travellers also enjoy doing the four pubs around the ground.

There is even a tradition where by away fans have to break into song as soon as the enter the Royal Oak, which is the Brentford's nicest gastro-pub:fishing:

Could you bring a 7 , 22, 47 ,66 , 80 and 90 then please.

:)

Cheers for the replies.

Someone warned me recently that beer was not sold to away fans.

When this occurs I have to plan carefully, by half time I'm usually hung over.

Theres a good chance we'll sell out for this. It's our first away game of the season that is within easy reach.

Brentford's a good place to come as an away fan and I can't wait.

Beer

I'm not expecting much. Our away form has been grim so far this season.

gonna be a good one as your defence from what ive seen on TV is shocking and our strikers need that and you have a good forward line but we have a a strong back four! should be interesting!!!!

lol gonna be 0-0 now!

beer might not be sold in the away end, no idea. get a small miniture of vodka/whiskey from the off licence on the corner nearest the station. i'm suprised beers not its not free to away fans, we normally give the away fans better treatment than the home fans.

you will bring 2000? that is good support. is it all ticket for you lot? who plays for peterboro these days, ken charlery? is barry fry still manager? where are you in the table?

I reckon we'll bring 1500 - 2000. Its not all ticket, but all of a sudden everyones buying tickets now as theres a buzz going round of a good turnout and fears of trouble getting in on the day.

Gary Johnson is our manager, ex Bristol City. Good manager!

Best player is George Boyd. Grant McCann is back this Saturday and on his day is one of the better players in the league. We have a good strikeforce of Criag Mackail-Smith and Aaron Mclean.

On paper we should be OK defensively, Gabriel Zakuani being our best defender. Joe Lewis in goal. We've been shipping goals for fun though and this is our biggest weakness.

We are second in the league and realistically most of us expect promotion.

We bombed last year in the Championship, but we are better than most in this league and I suppose our league position is starting to prove that.

Although it may all be luck. Who knows.

Is the Royal Oak the "dangerous" pub for away fans?

not at all mate! should know from previous encounters were a friendly bunch! unless your really Fulscum!!! lol

Beer

 we're friendly peaceful people

Yep, but only because the Bricklayers Arms on Ealing Road is currently doing £1.50 a pint before 2 pm and is packed with away fans every game:)
Get down there early!;)

Seriously, we're not muppets like Leeds who think they have a 'home fans only pub' only to watch themselves outsung and outshine by their southern superiors:cool:

All fans welcome everywhere.
P.S. don't buy any food in the ground, we're boycotting it as it's too expensive and also seriously crap.

Eat in the pub, Macdonalds, chippie, kebab house, samosa from the off licence, they're all much better options financially and ethically.

Beer

I've heard a rumour that you are nicknamed 'The Posh'.

Is this true? Do your fans wear a lot of tweed?

Hello

I normally queue up for when the turnstiles open at 1.15pm as I like to watch the stewards putting their yellow or orange jackets on. What time do you go in the ground? I hope you are not one of those who waits til 2.30pm or even later. That caused the Hillsborough disaster.

Why are you called mad dog?

Will you be my friend?

Kingstonian 0 - 3 Peterborough

Did you come to the game a few seasons back when you were all let in for free? That was a marketing exercise by the club to incentify new supporters.I dont think hardly and of you Welsh b astards came to watch another home game of ours that season.Ungrateful or what ? If you've still got the ticket stub from that game its just the normal £18 to get in on Sat.If you havent its £18 plus the £12 from last time that you all stole.

Dyou think this below is funny btw ?

what a nightmare that was - how people can whinge about the current crop compared to that sh!te is beyond me.

We had no money then. Also its not the whinge against the current crop as we've spent some money and got some decent players. Most people's whinges are at AS management skills and lack of tactics

Any season ticket holders got a spare comp for sat ?

email [email protected] if you can assist .

Thank-you

boooooo. Stop robbing the club.

Hopefully Scotty has sussed the Posh defensive weakness out. I'm sure Alex and Mac can drag Bennett and Zak all over the place.

Maybe Weston could swap wings and have a crack at Rowe? Plenty of shots please to test Joe's handling.

Trouble is CMS, Boyd and Maclean are deadly and should IMO be in the league above and Mccann can pick a pass as well.

5-5 written all over this one.

last chance saloon for Scotty on saturday, must win game. could have Coppell back in charge for the Birmingham glory night.

Does anyone who has a comp for Saturday have a spare season ticket they don't want? New Road preferably, but I'll consider other areas .
